I received multiple texts from this number which claimed to be Sound Physicians. They stated that they were filing a claim with my insurance and included a link for me to click on for me to confirm that my information was correct. I Googled “Sound Physicians” and called the number for billing that was listed on the website (which was different than the number I received the texts from) and I was informed that I don’t have a balance.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Sound Physicians of Illinois based in Los Angeles sent an invoice saying I owe $1735.00 from a date of service in 2018. I have never received a bill from them and it’s 2021. I immediately thought scam when I received it so didn’t pay any attention to it. Then a month later I received another invoice saying FINAL NOTICE and if I didn’t pay it would be sent to collections. I called them and they could not help me at all and told me they would connect me with the supervisor who I was never connected with. This has to be some sort of scam.
