This woman approached my 14-year-old daughter on Instagram, got her trust and sent her a fake check. She guided her to get her SS next number from my husband and open an Zelle account. She asked her to donate the money to “a charity”. My daughter deposited the fake check in her account, sent $200 of her own money to an zelle account by mistake, and then another $200 to an account this woman provided before she realized she was being scammed.
