Scam company

Tried to get me to give them a lot of money and then blocked me from the app after I didn’t buy all the religious things they are selling. Total scam bait.

This happened to me. I got hired for the 25$ position. I asked my hiring manager at sobergrid if I should quit my job. He basically told me that in 10 days I would start "after receiving my work materials".

When i saw the 5000$ check, i realized it was made out by a air/heating company. I tried to rationalize but after calling my bank and the air conditioning company i realized how i got scammed.

I am pretty sure the app and everything is fake right now. I tried using it.

I quit my job! Luckily they had me back. I felt foolish and mentally abused.

Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

The same thing happens to me as well Michael Fishkin is a scammer they will tell you to download telegram in my case. The number that will text you is +1 (805) 738-6962 my person that texted me was named Stephanie to set up an interview.

I fell victim to a fake job post for a work for home opportunity. They are fake reps for Sober Grid, but the company is real. They might even change the company name and where the check is from. They sent me a check for $5000 to purchase office supplies and then had me venmo/zelle certain "vendors" it felt weird to me after the 2nd time I sent someone money via Venmo so I confronted him and see if he could send me his HR contact to verify his employment, he couldn't. Luckily I was able to call my bank and get my Zelle money back but still waiting on the money that was sent through Venmo. Ugh I'm so stupid I fell for this scam. Nothing to begin with added up, where the check came from, the venmo user, nothing! Check cleared at first but then later was reversed, leaving me with negative balance! In just an honest person trying to make an honest living!

I was contacted by someone named Casandra through a text message about a work at home job and the company would supply the check for the start up materials

Michael Fishkin was the hiring manager and sent the check to my home for the work at home start up materials to be purchased through their vendor

I deposited the check into my account and three days later it was declined

I told Michael about the declined check and was than asked about using my credit card

Right than I knew it was a scam
