Type of a scam Phishing
The caller has been calling from the telephone number 1-844-933-2947 and has not left no voice message, just a hang up noise, every single work day since February 21, 2023 to date.
The last call was today, March 20, 2023 at 11:01 pm PST.
On March 14, 2023 at 10:28 am, I called 1-844-933-2947 and the recorded voice stated it was SiriusXM voice mailbox and leave a message; however, it then said the mailbox was full.
On March 15, 2023 I called 1-844-933-2947 and again the voicemail advised the same thing.
Today, March 20, 2023 at 12:02 pm I called 1-844-933-2947 and again the voicemail advised the same thing.
I am a valued customer of SiriusXM who has current accounts for both of our family vehicles. Our accounts do not expire for almost 12 months.
Today I called SiriusXM at 1-888-539-7473 at 12:11 pm and spoke *********. She confirmed my account details and explained that telephone 1-844-933-2947 that purporting be SiriusXM, was not their number. S******** advised she would detail these details to their engineering department. I explained I would lodge a complaint with the BBB.
Today, at 12:22 am , March 20, 2023, I called the Better Business Bureau ************** and spoke to *****. I explained the details narrated above. ***** said she would not take my complaint on the phone but had to loge my complaint online. ***** explained it was not the ScamPulse.com's policy to take my complaint on the phone. On my second request she refused to take my complaint.
I am very supportative of the ScamPulse.com but find this concerning as some persons do not have skill set nor the comfortability to lodge a complaint online.
* ** * ******** **** *** ***** *** ************* ******* and find this policy very restrictive and feel it not conducive to accessibility, especially to those less familiar to computers and the internet.
I am very frustrated with these harrasing telephone calls and messages and need your help.
Please confirm receipt if this complaint.
