They posted a Zillow listing for rent, and asked for $75 per adult to apply for background check fees. They claimed property was occupied and that they could not show the property for 2 weeks. Sent the money on a Sunday and less than 12 hours later claimed the background checks came back and we approved for the property, and that we needed to send 1 months rent ($1950) in order to secure the property and have listing removed from Zillow. If money was not sent then they would move forward with other applicants. I did not send the requested $1950 as there was no lease signed, or proof that property was even truly available for rent and they said in order to have lease created I had to send the deposit. I reported listing to Zillow and blocked contact number.
