Trying to get information about the value of my property and also wanting to buy it not quite sure how they got my information when I look at the website it says fraud

Contacted me a few months ago by text and again today. Both times have contacted me by a “hi (my name)” and when I responded both times have asked me if I want to sell a house, the same address, One I don’t own. When I tell them that they don’t respond again this

Repeated texts were sent to my son asking for me by name. He has a different last name and lives in another state, so I have no idea how they got his number. When asked who was reaching out and for what reason, "Katie" replied "I was wondering if you have plans to sell ." My son forwarded the text to me and I sent a "please stop" text. The texts came from 317-597-8430. This was 2 days ago and neither my son nor I have received additional texts or calls.

Yes, Katie sent me a text.
First saying "Hi [my First name]."
The next day "Hello, I'm trying to reach [my First and Last name] Is this the correct number?"
Today "I'm looking for the owner of [my address]. Is that you?"
I replied, "Hello, who is this?"
Response "Hi, this is Katie from SimplyFastSold. I was wondering if you have plans to sell [my sddress]
I said I will not be selling and sent a separate text saying "Stop", to unsubscribe.
I then receive the following message: "You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."

I think they are using this process to verify the information and match the correct name to an address. Their website is very cookie cutter and the 'waffle' which should provide a dropdown menu of the site is just an image and has no function. The only thing you can do on their website is give them more of your information. For those of you wondering how they got your address, the County Appraisal District website gives that information free to the public. If you own your home, anyone can search for your Name and Address. Then all they have to do is look for a listing of your name and phone number, then contact you to verify the connection. You can go to the Davidson County Appraisal site, http://www2.co.davidson.nc.us/taxnet/RealEstate.aspx site, for example, to search for a property, who the owner is, how much it is worth and when they purchased it. Along with other information. All counties have a site like this.

Hope this helps someone!

Contacted me to sell a property I do not own. Refused to tell me who the investor was or any other information. Refused to remove my number.

Same as others. Don't know how or where she got my info.
One message was "Oh, and Xx just in case you were wondering: we are set up to purchase the home virtually. This means we can get the entire purchase done over the phone and using a traveling notary. I'm happy to jump on a call and discuss the exact process with you. Are you available for a quick chat?"
After another request asking who it was I got "My name is Katie from SimplyFastSold. Would you like to sell (my address)"
I told her no and not to text again. We shall see. It does make me nervous.

Just heard from Katie myself. She replied in text that she got my number from public records I don’t use my cell on anything that would end up in public records. We always use the landline. I didn’t reply to her questions on property but did respond to the public records that the number is on the Do Not Call Registry. I hope Verizon hasn’t been hacked again

Got a text from an unknown number mentioning me by name. "Hi [NAME]!" A second text about 15 minutes later said "Is this [NAME]?" I replied with a message "Who is this?" and received a message from "Katie" that read as follows: "Hi [NAME], this is Katie from SimplyFastSold. Just trying to reach out to know if you are interested to get an offer for [ADDRESS]?"

The company website is a shell site, and their contact us and privacy pages do not exist, though there are fake links at the bottom of the page. There are other scam alerts online mentioning this exact scenario.

Accurate reviews! Stay away from SimplyFastSold. This person Katie, Or whatever her real name texted my cell number asking if this was (my husbands name) then sent another text next day asking the same question. Why she had my husbands name but my cell phone number which the cell account is listed under my name is pretty scary!? I did not respond to 1st or 2nd text so she sent a third message stating this: “Hi again. This is Katie. It seems I may have caught you in the middle of something... Would there be a better time for me to check back in with you?“. My husband texted back on my phone saying “are you wanting to buy our house?” She replied: Hi! It appears you used a different phone number when you responded to our initial message. May I know your full name so that I can check it in our system? This is Katie from SimplyFastSold. And yes we do buy properties around Florida” We get calls & texts similar to these CONSTANTLY from various companies and only state their first names (scammers) offering to buy our home. What’s extremely bizarre is my husband & I both get these messages on both our phone numbers mainly asking about a property at an address we don’t even own!. They actually ask for the name of a previous tenant we rented to and who bought a house w3 years ago. Mainly these texts reference his property address. (We bought our house 15 years ago) Ive contacted our previous tenant and asked if he knows why the callers would be asking for him and his address on our phones! he claims to have no clue but it’s clear he put out phone numbers on some property documents that are public record. I don’t know how to get these scammers to stop or how to change that phone number associated with his property. I know the last part of my review isn’t on the specific topic of simplyfastsold but just wanted to make people aware & wondering if anyone else gets constantly harassed by people asking to buy their homes. I feel bad for folks who fall for scams like these requesting personal info. Those are tons of real estate scams out their even some where fraudsters have been able to acquire tiles/deeds. Please don’t fall victim to ANYONE claiming to give you a quick fix or claim to give you lots of money! At least these folks have a website we can report. Ive never been able to get anyone to tell me a company name they are associated with!
Take care of your privacy & God Bless!

Same thing, they had my cell but asked for my husband in text - weird. I gave them them my first name, got a call shortly thereafter to sell the house and I told them not at this time and the lady hung up. Pretty harmless I thought. I would never sell my house that way anyway.

I have been receiving multiple messages using another family member's name and my phone number to sell a home which belongs to other family members and not myself. They state they used public records to get my phone number but I do not associate with the address.

They are inquiring to make a cash purchase to my family member of a home they own.

Got the same message. Thanks for the information above. I was shocked to see that "Katie" knew my name and the address of the residence.

Katie begins a text message string with

Hi (your name)!

Is this you (you name)?

(1/2) Hi! I'm Katie from SimplyFastSold. I'm reaching out because I have an investor who wants to give you an all-cash offer for (your property address). Are you interested in selling?

They continue to harass you for personal information.

They have a website https://simplyfastsold.com/

With only a home page and no other info. No other pages, no contact info.

Received several texts from "Katie" looking to purchase property that isn't listed. She had a customer who wanted to pay cash. Been driving by property. She acts like a realtor from this company. I checked the company website. It doesn't show physical address. Cannot use the contact us button on it. Looks like a fake business. Not sure how she got my cell phone number anyway. Sent same texts over and over until I told her to go away.
