I was messaged through my phone number's text service about a job interview for a remote position with *******. I was asked to download the signal app to complete a chat interview. After a very lengthy process and interview questionnaire, I was told that I would be gotten back to the next morning. The next morning I received a signal message from this person (Scot Rossi and William Dacons were the names used) telling me congratulations, I got the job. Even sent me an official looking offer letter and job description. All I had to do was give them my banking information and they would send me a check to pay for the equipment that they told me the day before would be sent directly to me. That's when I realized it was a scam and luckily did not give any detailed information. I told the person that I did not have a bank account and from there, they stopped talking all together.
