Type of a scam Employment
Offering me a job as a quality auditor, the job was described as “Receiving the package on the day of delivery. We work with FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL,
Ontrac, Lasership.
- Taking photos of the package and uploading them into the Task Control System.
- Make sure all breakables are wrapped with bubbles to prevent breakage.
- Making description of the external state of the package in the Task Control System.
- Rectify problems such as damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications.
- Send the package to warehouses for further distribution within 24 hours from the moment
of downloading a prepaid label.
- Upload a photo or a scan of the package sending a receipt.
- Adhere to shipping/receiving and regulatory-compliance procedures.
- Always be in touch with their supervisor and be available by telephone and email.”
That is the job description copy and pasted
After being hired and signing a “employment agreement” they said I was on a probation period of 30 days and paychecks start after the probation period. I received about 40 packages and sent them all to their corresponding addresses given to me by my point of contact (Victoria Hiller, [email protected], 4405836999)
Once my probation period was up Victoria said my first paycheck was mailed to me but that is the last I heard from her. I don’t receive any packages anymore nor do I receive emails/messages/phone calls.
When I try and get in touch with Victoria she never emails/messages or calls me back. So upon doing further research I notice the company seems to have switched names to
Shoppingtruth.org.
This company is using photos from a different website and making up fake names for their “management team”
I emailed the website whose photos are being used and they just thanked me for letting them know.
None of the people on shoppingguide/shoppingtruth are real people and the employment agreement I had with David Turner who was supposed to be the president and CEO is apparently not real because David Turner is not a real person.
I was told I would receive bi weekly paychecks between the range of $1000-$1500 after my probation period ended and I have not received a dollar from these people, I also spent some of my own money for postage/boxes/shipping/ink/ paper in which I was told I’d be reimbursed.
I have proof of all the packages sent to me and the outgoing postage from when I sent them to the “customers”
I would just like this company investigated because it seems like they keep scamming and switching their name/email/ and phone number.
