Email stated that Norton Antivirus had renewed my subscription for $499.99 and that it would be drafted out the next day. It gave a phone number to call in order to cancel. I called that number and was told to hang up so that they could call me back on the Whatsapp app. They had me fill out a form giving my name, address, phone number and email address. Then they had me do the shared screen and log into my bank account so that the draft could be stopped. I told him that I was hesitant to log in on a shared screen, but I was told that he wouldn't be able to see it because it would be encrypted. So, I reluctantly logged in to my bank account and he abruptly hung up! That's when I did research on the phone number and found out that it was a scam. I notified my bank immediately and was told to change my password, which I did.
