Woman speaking Spanish

Called to congratulate me on opening a Chase checking account

Knew my Name.

Said I didn’t

Woman said she will close the account.

Woman asked if I had Zelled “Amayo” a payment of 1,500.

Said no, if I don’t have a checking account why should a Zelle from a bogus checking account be mine?

Asked me to get ready to take down the case number and hung up

I didn’t call back as I know that some scammers charge huge $$$ for long distance fees

Worse part of this whole thing is that I was w my elderly mom at the hospital for an appointment

Wish these folks just get a job!
