His name is Joseph
The photos he sent of the available kittens are attached. Tell him that you were recommended by Eugene's wife, Sarah, from Morehead City, North Carolina, when you get to him. He said the adoption fee will now only be $550. Make sure he understands that you want to have a kitten in your house as a pet, Not for breeding.

I contacted Joseph and there we started our conversation, he sent me pictures (multiple) of different kitties he had and I chose one, we signed contract. Right before sending him money I decided to do a better research on the internet (which I should have done right away, agree) and found a post on ScamPulse.com with identical email text from both initial breeder and Joseph, literally copy-pasted text, and also I did image search on Google and found the same pictures on 3 different websites not related to this particular breeder
I.e no available kittens, referred me to Joseph Conavale including pics of available kittens for $550.
I didn’t contact him but searched his name online. Found a person who is deceased in NY and this report on BBB. Total SCAM!
"Thank you for getting in touch with me. Unfortunately, we must notify you that every kitten we presently have is Booked. If you're serious about having a kitten, I can connect you with the breeder from whom we got our parent cats. You will probably smile when you see his babies; he is an amazing breeder. His email address is [email protected] Joseph is his name. The photos he sent of the available kittens are attached. Tell him that you were recommended by Eugene's wife, Sarah, from Morehead City, North Carolina, when you get to him. He said the adoption fee will now only be $550. The above came in an email from [email protected]
I emailed Joseph as instructed and had several emails including this:
"We appreciate you reaching out to us. Our objective is to establish a location where cat lovers may safely and conveniently adopt healthy Russian Blue Kittens.
Russian Blue cats are low on the allergy scale and most people with allergies to cats do not react to Russian Blues.
We currently have three kittens up for adoption.
Two ladies and one guy. check the pics attached and let me know which of the kittens piques your curiosity.
The rehoming fee is $550 for each kitten, and $1050 for two.
First and foremost, I want you to know why I am presenting the kittens and why their need for homes is so urgent.
Our love for the breed and the experience of raising these cats are the main factors that motivate us to provide these cats at such low prices.
Because we are expecting our first child in two weeks and need to find the kittens new, loving homes where they can receive the right care, we are providing a special price reduction.
We are in McAllen, TX 78503. We encourage you to visit us for the kittens, but if you are unable to do so, we can arrange for delivery; depending on your location, we can ship the same day or the next day.

After completing and signing a contract for the kitten, Joseph asked for payment. I asked him for references and for more information about the pet transport company including the name of the company and whether he's used them before. He responded with this:
"Hi sorry for the late reply, I have been super busy with a family emergency.
I understand your concern and want to assure you as you have my word and God is our witness, that you will get your kitten and in sound health conditions.
We are an honest and God fearing couple, cannot afford to let you down.
We have delivery agents that operate like Fedex, and are very cost efficient. We have worked with many of them and can assure you it's very safe.
But if you still feel weary about this I fully understand as well."
I searched for information about scams and found this posting on bbb.org. The information is the same except for the phone number although they are both have area code 701. I searched the phone number for Sarah's Cattery and found it on another website called Evian Exotic Cattery, https://www.evian-exoticshorthaircattery.com/. The owner is named Evian but she has the same phone number (252-290-6984) as Sarah from Sarah's Cattery as per this page https://www.evian-exoticshorthaircattery.com/delivery.
I also found similar testimonials on these two supposedly different cattery web pages.
