The conversation continued until she said she would send me a check via email to deposit. Said she was sending me extra money so that I could put some in her orphanage for her but I could not get her to tell me what the orphanage was called - she said “I have many and you will get to know them in time”. I tried to press it but she would change the subject.
I had her send the “check” to an email address that I could easily close down if need be and when I got it it came from an email address with a different last name than what she had given me. And the check had P & J Contracting on it. I asked her why and she said that it was her business that her and her late husband owned. I looked this company up and it is actually owned by a Pless Jones Jr. who I can’t find any relation to a Sandra Gerald.
This lady even went as far to send me a picture of her driver’s license, of course with the address and all covered up. Just her face and signature showing. And sent me a picture of her with the date hand written on a piece of paper.
I did do a Google search with her photos but couldn’t get any hits. I literally cannot find any information about this lady or her husband online. I’ve tried everything I can think of without paying for services.
I reported her account to Instagram, I haven’t blocked her yet in case I needed to have access to her account or the messages to share. I would really like to do something about this because I know there are people out there who are naive (at no fault of their own) and wouldn’t even have a second thought. And I would like to do what I can to help protect those people.
