We just sent you a delivery notification email with the change of ownership document, kindly check your email, sign the ownership document and revert back to us as soon as possible.

Scam pet shipping company demanded extra money for a crate

I went online to look into adopting a Maine [censored] kitten and got into contact with someone i assumed was a legit breeder. Everything was okay until the day they said they were getting the shipping done when the shipping company (Rokaway from RokawaysPetTransportationService.com) started pushing me for money for a crate to ship the kitten in and said that my money would be refunded when the kitten arrived. I had already done research on what to look out for in regards to scammers and I knew that the fact that they were trying to get me to Zelle a single person rather than pay a company was not right, plus they were rushing me to pay them and started to spam call me. I contacted the breeder to find out that the shipping company "contacted them and said it was legit so i can go ahead and pay them" which basically tells me that the 'breeder' was in on it. I am deeply hurt from this experience and hope others don't have to experience it.
