They are claiming to sell Yorkshire Terrier puppies and that they are a non profit making and just want to share the joy this breed gives. They claim they come with 1 year health warranty, health certificate from a vet, current vaccinations, bill of sale documents, change of ownership papers, ALC papers, and micro chipped. They ask you questions about being a suitable dog owner to make you feel comfortable. They claim they will ship the puppy on Delta or American Airlines in a crate. They want you to make payment first through Zelle or CashApp and then they will provide all the documentation. They will even send you a video of a puppy and they have several pictures of puppies on their page. When you start asking questions about other payment forms, getting the contract prior to sending money, wanting to physically visit the puppies before purchasing they cut communication.

Gave a price for a puppy, took a “deposit” and then changed the price to an extremely high number. Won’t refund the deposit even though the verbal contract was broken and no puppy was exchanged.

My fiancee and I were looking for a siberian husky pup for our kids and found "Heather Finney" through a group on Facebook. We found this adorable pup from a litter and were quoted a price of $700. They immediately wanted a $300 deposit. Ok, cool. Understandable. A day or so later, they requested another $350 for the papers, etc and so on. Along with that, they sent a contract to be e-signed. In the contract, it stated that pet insurance picked by the breeder was required. That a fee of $430 would be paid towards the insurance and then refunded 3 days after the pup was picked up. An insurance paper was sent, which we had many questions about because it didn't make a lot of sense. On top of the $430, a fee of $220 was requested for the pup's last vet visit. She just kept going back to "it was in the contract, other families have already sent this money", "it ensures there isn't a hold up with getting the transfer done in a reasonable manner", etc and so on. Ok, well we've never purchased from a breeder, so although it seemed a little like we were jumping hoops, we weren't completely deterred. Then, she says that the insurance papers weren't filled out properly and since that money was already sent for processing, we needed to send an additional $430 towards the insurance, with a total of $860 being refunded back to us after picking up the pup. This is where we started to really start to question what was going on, asking for receipts for the money that we had already spent, which was a total of $1730 by this point. Instead of sending receipts, we were then asked to send ANOTHER $110 because we didn't "have a pet plan already in place". It was at this time that I started to look further into pet adoption scams to see what I could find out. It was in this search that I found the link to the bbb and found a posting with a very similar story as ours, other than we haven't made it to pick up time, as the pups aren't supposed to be ready for another 9 days. When my fiancee sent her the similar posting, he was not only immediately unfriended and blocked by the "breeder" Heather Finney, but also removed from the group that he found the dog on, which was ran by a completely different person. The owner of the group, named Cheyenne, had told him to reach out before purchasing, which he did, on top of reporting her as a scammer after the fact. The contract, at the very least, had our home address on it, so now they know exactly where we live as well.

I have reported them before and i am reporting them again because their webpage is back up. And they have stolen more testimonials from different breeders again

- Papillion, NE, USA

The scammers has a instagram account claiming to be a dog breeder. We inquired about a puppy and paid $600 dollars for the animal to be shipped to us from CA to NE via a flight nanny service. We were then asked for an additional $250 for a flight mixup. Then the day before the flights we were asked for an additional $400 for a flight kennel, which sparked a red flag for us. When we first tried paying the $400 via PayPal it was declined because it worked fine for the prior payments. We were then asked to pay via bitcoin which I did not do. They then asked us to use Zelle, which we did. However the email used was completely different . The account then got unavailable via Zelle and seemed to no longer exist.

The flight nanny when being asked for updates was non responsive or gave red flag answers. When asked to show a video of the puppy at the airport it was crickets. Also when they said they were on their way to the airport it was just 15 minutes prior to departure. They were leaving from LAX, they should have been there already. The supposed flight is landed in Omaha and zero communication of their arrival and not to be found.

Me and my husband are looking to get a dog when i came across their website. They wanted a $300 deposit to even see the dog. When i asked for proof that they were not a scam, they got defensive and said they were a christian family and would never do that, and they have been doing this for 3 years. They then sent their website again for a list of testimonials and they were directly copied from another website.

Clicked on link to purchase a puppy & got a text saying how to make the payment & gave his cash app info. Once screenshot the confirmation n sent back the pup was to be shipped through PetWave Transport. The seller used name Sylvester Korbieh on cash app. Cash app name $slykorb7616. Said puppy would be shipped Tuesday. Tuesday morning got a confirmation email from PetWave Transport saying they received the puppy and had all the information n expected departure time and arrival time to us. Then another email saying the puppy needed a thermal crate bc of weather conditions n temperatures airplanes go through because the puppy was only 2lbs & 10weeks old. Crates ranged from $500-$1000. We sent the $500 to a cash app account with name Gem Vang $1ofakindgkv for the 500$ crate to transport the pup. Was told 100% refundable upon delivery. The PetWave Transport guy said his name was John West. Phone number (402)-509-9125. Emails were from [email protected]. After we confirmed the 500$ we got another email saying crate wasn’t available and need to send another $500 to get the $1,000.00 crate. That’s when we had enough & tried reaching the seller again to cancel everything. Haven’t heard anything from Terryteacupmaltesehome or John West from Petwave transport.

told us he would ship. does not answer phone or emails.

I looked to purchase a poodle from a breeder. We discussed breed, price, and shipping. Signed a contract. I sent to Michelle-waites via chime credit card. Chime will not dispute my charges for my the fact of its debit card 1 and it’s unofficial bank! So i am taking this route and a police report. When shipping the puppy i thought another business associate emailed / texted harassing me for $750 more to deliver the puppy to my home! The tracking info was invalid not up to date according to usps when 911 state police had me check. I never received a dog. This “company” still runs. I need this money for my business needs back .

I have several files to upload!

Was purchasing a shar pei puppy and when it was being shipped they started calling me saying I needed the buy insurance and a special crate and then said the puppy was sick and I had to pay the vet bill and then never received the puppy after paying for the extras

Scammer “David” send images of a dog. We paid the amount for the dog and the company was using https://aircompetencetanslogistics.com/ to send their dog. They asked for $990 fully refundable heated dog crate. When questioned about it, they became defensive and sped up timelines and shamed us about the health of the dog. I used their name found on a previous report while questions the means of how they will hold the money. Upon using their name, they freaked out and pretended they couldn’t hear.

Scammer instructed me to pay 750 for the puppy and 200 for shipping via Zelle or Venmo. Lucky for me Venmo must have determined something suspicious and refunded $950.00. I obviously then got suspicious and found the report of 10/23 that was almost exactly the same experience I was having with this scammer. The scammer is still emailing me looking for payment.

Scammer was contacted about a GSD puppy to be shipped to buyer. Seller only wanted to take payments from methods that do no have buyer protection. They wanted buyer to send a text to number (which was different for payment) as soon as the payment was sent. They wanted a snapshot of payment confirmation sent as well. Buyer has only communicated via email. Several times buyer asked about a contract that would state that there was a refund is something were to come up on buyers end or sellers. Nothing was said to that. they did state in an email that they do a 45 day guarantee. Buyer asked about buyer protection ways of payment and seller kept stated to trust the process as they are Christian and would never do anything against their faith. Buyer asked about a previous website, name for selling pups at the same address and same last name. Seller denied it was the same. I have several emails back and forth from this seller. Each one raising more and more concerns. I went back to their website and found that each puppy that they have for sale is in a different looking home. Buyer beware of Surrey Hills GSD Home.

Website looks legit. I sent an inquiry and the person sent me txt msge. We had a conversation about the puppy that we like and sent downpayment for reservation via zelle. I asked for additional photos and he provided and a video. At night time i checked his address and its everywhere online about the pet scam. Im trying to get my zelle transaction cancelled which is still pending.

Filled out online form. Was texted by “breeder” - did not require any info about me, just payment. All messages were “off” and did not seem like a legitimate business. Tried to get independent sources of referral but the number they gave me was another local number even though this former client was supposedly in another state. Tried calling, no answer. My partner texted the number and got more fishy responses. Decided this was not legit and did not proceed with any transaction.

Scammer pretended to be selling Yorkies and asked for $150 deposit provided a contract stating money was refundable, then asked for $100, but when I stated I wanted refund back, due to change of mind scammer made excuses. I stated I would report as scammer and he threatened to kill my family then deleted Facebook profile.

I purchased a puppy on 12/24 for $700 and had a delivery fee of $200. The "breeder" said I could come to pick the puppy up at their address if I was close, and when I said I wasn't, they offered the shipping for the $200. I filled out the paperwork and sent them a payment of $900 over Zelle (Zelle was the only payment they accepted.) The payment was made to his "wife" Angelina Johnson. The breeder followed up with me on January 1st and asked if I wanted the puppy delivered Jan 2 or 3. I said the 3rd, and he let me know he would be writing up all the paperwork and would send me the tracking information, which he did (he also asked if I would like a 7:30 pm or 9 pm delivery slot.) This is the website where I found the puppy and got in touch with the breeder: https://riversidejackrussell.store/

Email used: [email protected]

Phone number: 531-204-3176

Address on shipping label: Michael Rose

On the 3rd, the breeder emailed me from the "agency" he was working with to ship the puppy. He sent me the tracking information for the puppy, which stated a 12:00 departure. Link to first tracking number and website to

Website: https://twgo.express/track-consignment/

He then emailed me and said the agency was not accepting the crate he always uses due to the weather, and they required an a/c crate. I could either purchase one of two crates or rent it (if I wasn't planning on traveling with the puppy any soon), and they would reimburse me all but $50 upon the puppy's delivery. The agency then sent me an email from email address: Travel Way Go" [email protected], with the two options, and said that they would not accept credit cards because it would be reimbursed, and it had to be a Zelle payment. I thought this was suspicious and told them I could only pay via credit card as I didn't have the funds. The breeder then texted asking me how much I could send via Zelle. I said I only had $700, and he agreed to cover the rest. I then sent the $700 payment over to Zelle to the agency. This is the payment to Daniel Hardaway above.

By the time we paid for the crate, we had missed the flight for the puppy, which was scheduled to go from Nebraska direct to Los Angeles. The breeder said there was another flight available at 12:30, and the puppy would be routed through Utah. I received a new tracking number for this

agency: Tracking Number: TWG087442066728

Website: https://twgo.express/track-consignment/Tracking Number : TWG087442066728

A few hours later I received an email from the agency stating that I needed to buy pet mortality insurance to deliver the puppy to Los Angeles. I reached out to the breeder, who said that he had already looked into CA and that it was not needed. He said he would reach out to the agency to clear up. A few minutes later, he called and let me know that the issue was that now the puppy was coming from Utah and it was needed. The charge was $999, of which all but $50 would be reimbursed. I said I did not have it and that it needed to be via credit card. He said the agency would not accept anything except Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App since this was a reimbursable transaction. I replied that you could reimburse credit cards, but he said it was not an option. I had him call me at this point, and I said this felt like a scam. we went back and forth, but in the end, I was concerned that the puppy would be stuck in Utah if not a scam. I paid $300 via Zelle to Daniel Hardaway again but had hit my Zelle limit, so my mother covered the other $699 from her Zelle account to Daniel Hardaway. A few hours later, I received another email from the "agency" stating that in Utah, they had identified the puppy needed a few vaccines and medication due to an illness discovered, and the charge again had to be via Zelle for $540 of which all buy $40 would be reimbursed because of the insurance. I emailed back, saying I would not send them another dollar via Zelle and would only pay through a credit card. I also requested a copy of the Vet's license, the business license of the agency, and a photo of the dog. The agency never responded. The breeder did follow up via text and email. He said he had ended up in the hospital due to the stress and that it was not a scam. I asked for a reimbursement. I have not had any other conversation since the afternoon of 1/4.

After I realized this was a scam, I investigated the sites fully. I realized that the agency's site states that their COO and president is Joanna Geraghty, who is actually the president of Jetblue (it even has a photo of her on the site and if you look behind her in the photo you can see a Jetblue model plane.) I tried to find her contact info but was unable to locate it. https://twgo.express/safety/

The breeder's site under the health guarantee page: https://riversidejackrussell.store/health-guarantee is a copy of another site (they left the original company's name in the test.) This is link to the page they copied https://www.royaljackrt.com/health-guarantee/ (if you Google the below text there is actually an additional site that uses the same text https://www.keystonepuppies.com/puppy-health-guarantee )
