I received a letter from the Publishers Clearing House/Free Lotto Association of North America indicating that 'I was a lucky winner'. Letter (see attachment) indicating prize winnings of $750,000.00 US Dollars. Letter further indicates to contact the branch office at (609) 403-9978 and speak with 'Agent' Jefferson Bruno for method of payment. (called twice and also emailed Mr. Bruno once at [email protected]. On the 2nd phone call (929) 568-4895, Mr. Bruno picked up the phone and said he would call me back. He never did). Attached at the bottom of the letter was a check in the amount of $8,300.00. I lost $8300. Letter indicated that I was to use this money for taxes and processing fees towards enabling of the winnings. I deposited the check into my bank account and was initially approved by my bank. Check was therefore returned as fraudulent.
