I received a voice mail (which was left on MY phone - however, they were looking for my daughter) from someone saying I needed to be home to be served court papers for a legal action against me. The call came from a local phone number 952-777-9188 - however, they said I could call them back at 888-303-3613. I've received many of these types of calls and I never call them back. I believe them to be a scam especially since I work for the courts and I know the courts do NOT call people like this. And when these calls come in, they are always leaving messages for my daughter (who has never had this number). If it was legitimate, they would be reaching out to her at her phone number.

I was told the female caller was going to be at my home this Friday (August 29, 2025) between 3-5pm to serve papers and if I was not there she would have no other choice but to go to the second address she had on file. She gave a call back number of 855-561-3217. I did not call back.

I have had these calls over the last 2 years. I have never been served or contacted. They don't say the company name or what the court papers are for.

Caller claimed to be a process server from harris county which is not where I am located, stated he had legal documents for me to sign and he would be at my home or place of employment between 3-5 today and I must show identification. Call came from private number so do not know anymore information. He gave a phine number to call back (1-833-251-8424 and to give my file number that starts with a w. He called past 2 days as well and said this is my final notice. Pretty sure this is a scam.

i received a restricted number phone call at 9:47 a.m. which went to voicemail and the scammer left the following message. "Hi, this is Judy. i'm a licensed process server and am looking for (my legal first name, last name). (My legal first name), I have to come out and serve you in the next few days. I want to make sure that i have the correct address for you and also make you aware you are going to need a valid form of ID on my arrival. if you're unavailable, a missed appearance may be placed against you. Any questions or concerns you have or if you would like to work out a stop order, you can call the filing party at (866) 576-6697. There's also a case number on the envelope, I'll give that to you just in case you need it. That is *********.

They did not include the actual company name only that I could contact the filing party for more information about additional information or placing a stop order with the company

This is the message left:

"This is Robert Mitchell . I'm calling from the document processing division regarding documents that That will be delivered either to your home or place of employment. We have made multiple attempts to contact you with no response. We are required to notify you 7 2 hours prior to the documents being delivered. This is a highly sensitive matter and requires your immediate attention. Please contact issuing office at 8 8 8- 9 6 5- 7 3 1 7 Thank you..."

Claiming to be calling from a Process Severs Office, attempted to serve papers to appear in Court, they were returned from the address they have on file. Provided a case # to reach out to the Attorney Name they mentioned & give that case # for more information about the case to avoid a failure to appear, or future legal complications

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Process Service Dispatch. They were calling for my mother. They gave me a case number and phone number to call. They said if I didn't call, someone would be sent to my mother's home and she would be served papers. I did not engage further.

got a phone call stating that she was a process server and that she made 2 attempts to serve me and couldnt then gave me a case # and a phone # to call immediatly after she hung up or a warrant would be issued for my arrest the phone number she gave me to call is 888-389-1277
