A company called and told me that if I didn’t settle a debt with them over the phone they would serve me the following Monday to go to court. They told me I could settle for 35% of the debt amount. After my husband helped me pay it, within 2 days of giving the company the credit card info, there were multiple charges of fraud. Now I’m wondering if they sold my husband's credit card info or if they were even a real business at all.
