received a notice that the Geek squad was charging my sister (who is in a nursing home after a stroke) 400 dollars for a contract with the Geek Squad. i Called to cancel the contract and ended up in a prolonged computer scam with 40000 purportedly transferred to my account by mistake, and the scammers tried all day to get a wire transfer to get real dollars transferred out of my checking account. Pretty sophisticated scam, I wasn't suspicious because i was stressed out about my sister.

This is the 2nd email from Geek Squad Services, I deleted the first one. I noticed my email address was not listed. This time, I called the number to ask to be removed. A foreign man wanted information, but I did give my email address so he could remove it. When he asked for more information, I called him a scammer and said I was notifying the BBB. The email said: Subscription-Activated by Geek.services. Based on the digital signature that you submitted when the software initially installed, the Premium Plus Plan has been automatically applied to your application. Description: Invoice No IN0038KJS7287982 - Invoice Amount: $349.99 USD - Authorization Code: AZ769287A8Z - Questions? Get in touch with a member of our team today! received email bill today from Geek Squad.Never ordered by me or family member.Called number listed to cancel $310.00 bill & was on phone throudh an hour on computer[bill said to call phone number listed to cancel]and eventually hung up when unresolved after this long time.
