While googileing for Expedia to upgrade my flight seats, the representative insisted that the status of my flight is on standby and it was never confirmed! The first one was annoyed that I was not buying the logic behind the fact that the prices were changed and stated that I just cancelled your flight ! The rude and odd conversation made me extremely nervous and when I escalated it the other person hung up and the last one acted as doing a favor by trying to te-issue my ticket but I had to pay for the different of the increase price of the seats ! This was not adding up and while on the phone I tried to google and look up the phone number once more time and came up to multiple scam stories from others and hung up. I chatted with Expedia and got their real number and Theo said this phone number is not in their contact information. Please be aware !!!

I called customer service number from Google "Expedia Customer Service Number". The person (named Kash with Indian accent) asked me to provide credit card number in order to process my cancellation. Then he to click on the link that he sent me to confirm the cancellation. The email looked very legit because it had all the correct iternary information from Expedia.
