I received a phone call from +1 (833) 784-1940 and voicemail from an automated recording pretending to be Aetna requesting I call the number back about important information regarding my account. Unfortunately I did call the number back and provided it with my DOB and Zip Code when they asked for that information for “verification” that it was me. After providing the zip code it said my info didn’t match their records and the call ended.

Received a phone call from 1-833-784-1940 on 01/22/26. They left an automated voicemail, and provided a 7 digit pin# that was supposed to be provided to them during a callback. Called Aetna and they have no record of calling me on 02/06/25. Google searchsuggested it is a scam/spam. Caller ID showed “Spam?Aetna”. I use Verizon.

Received a call from+1 (833) 784-1940. They claim to be Aetna stating they had important information about my account. They provided a seven digit code which I was to use to access the information.

I did not.

Instead, I signed into my Aetna account, and saw that there were no issues.

I see that there was a “ fraud “ notification posted here in 2025. This is still occurring.

I received a very robotic voicemail claiming to be Aetna. When my name and "Aetna" were said, a different robotic voice chimed in.

Received a phone call from 1-833-784-1940 on 02/06/25 claiming to be Aetna, I didn’t answer. They left an automated voicemail about “an important health reminder “, they provided a 7 digit pin# that was supposed to be provided to them when I call back to confirm it was me.

Called Aetna and they have no record of calling me on 02/06/25. On record, last time I spoke with them was in 2024. Google searched the phone number they used to call and Aetna is not associated with that number. Caller ID showed “Unknown”.

I received a voicemail from an automated service claiming to be AETNA about prescriptions. It wsa at the number 844-206-6178. The voicemail asked me to call back that same number and use my phone number to identify myself. I called the number on my AETNA card and there were no alerts on my account.
