I received an email saying my debit card was used in Calfornia & they would reverse the charges. They had my bank card number, encouraged me to go online to my account, then said that someone had cash apped 500.00 from my account. I called the bank & it was verified. I had to reverse via bank, get a new card, & I went into the bank & when the scammer realized that I was actually in the bank, they disconnected. It has been a nightmare. It is as if they have gotten into all my devises. Now, I need to chang my account number & password.

I received an email from [email protected] stating they detected a transaction of $716.10 to CoinBase Inc, and if it was not authorized by me immediate action is required to stop it by calling 805-500-6108. It gave me the option to clink Create a Paypal account to review the invite or call the number to review. I did not click to Create an account.

I get an email thinking it’s from PayPal saying that I am being charged $379. When I called the toll-free number. The guy was able to get into my IP address. He telling me in order to give me my refund he needed to access to my checking account which I thought was very weird so I told him no I’m not logging in on my computer so you can see my password and my login code. That’s when I realized that was suspicious because if you’re giving me a refund, why do you need to be in my account The other thing they changed the spelling of PayPal slightly it’s spelled . PayPal , it’s spelled, but the E has an accent mark over the and Pal is spelled with a small P accent mark over the egg and I caught that after the fact. He was able to get in my computer through the IP address because I was clicking on buttons thinking I was getting a refund when in fact he was getting access to my hard drive on my desktop when I asked him to hold on so I called the toll-free number for PayPal and attempted to do a three-way the Scammer hung up. I recall the toll-free number. Someone answered the phone . When asked if he was with Pay Pal . He informed me that no they were not with PayPal and hung up. Scam

We’ve identified an unauthorized transaction from your PayPal account to Coinbase. The included the amount you and the transaction number. I have another of 654.92. I continue to receive on a daily basis.

This person said I owed $799.00 on an Apple Phone that never purchased and said they could get it off my account and proceeded to to go into DeskIn and I realized it was a scam when I was asked type amount of money into bitcoin.

The scam said thanks for choosing paypal for placing an order for Google Pixel &A. Said if this purchase was not made by me, to call otherwise 788.99 would be charged to my credit card. I don't use paypal and when I printed the email, it was sent to two and half pages of emails. Pretty sure it's a scam and did not call the number as I have heard they can get stuff off your phone and use your voice to try and make purchases. Not sure how [censored] does it but then again, I don't think like [censored] thinks. Thanks!

I keep receiving texts that there is a problem with my Pay Pal account from Microsoft. And then they say payment has been stopped on a different text. I don’t have a pay pal account nor do I own any Microsoft products.

On 10.7.2022, I received an e-mail from Don Ashley, with above e-mail address, subject line: Your request to purchase B.T.C. using PayPal Account is successful

I called 1.619.928.5213 from signature line showing David, Finance Team.

The person I spoke with claimed his name was: Roger Fernando. He didn't sound Spanish but possibly Pakistani or Indian. E-mail shows updated balance: $768.95, Transaction ID: ************. He said where can he send this money. I told him I don't have a PenPal account. He said did a family or friend open one up, w/o your knowledge. I told him no. That I had an account since 2019. I told him to cancel account that I didn't open up in 2019 or recently. He told me I was denying everything that he had an account with them. I told him I was going to call the BBB.
