Their website appeared to be an official government website to renew your passport online. Instead, it gathered more information than it needed (parent's names, etc.) and then sent pre-filled out forms for the government.

I needed a passport quickly. I forgot to add something on my check I submitted with my passport application. They now have my old passport. and have rejected my application for the 2nd time. I have called them all day to try and get this resolved. It just asks to leave a message and someone will return my call. Because this is a time sensitive situation you would think they would have called by now. I have lost a total of $3500 because I now need to cancel my vacation

Asks you all of the questions for the forms and has you pay only to give you the forms the US State Department offers for free but just filled in with your answers. Asks for parents’ names and other info plus your social. Never realized it wasn’t legit until someone pointed out the correct website to me as .gov and not .org
