Property rental was advertised as a one bedroom apartment for a very cheap price given how nice it was and the location. The landlord claimed to be in the army and rent through Airb&b. They requested two months rent up front ($1600), and then I would meet an Airb&B agent to take a tour of the place. If I chose not to go for it, I would get my money refunded. When I received payment instructions, it said payment had to be done in bitcoin and I knew it was a scam.
