The envelope contained an official looking citibank check in the amount of $1900.00 along with a pre-printed letter with Optimum Consult as a header + addressed to: "Attention: Dear Esteemed Secret Shopper". Contained in the enveloper were instructions to deposit the check, preferably within 24 hours after sending the following: I was to shop at a local retailer, they suggested, Walgreens, Bestbuy, CVS, Kroger, etc. + purchase 3 Apple Gift cards that were $500 each. Then send a picture + email of the back 'panel' of the cards, once the PIN codes were scratched off along with copies of the receipt. My commission would be $300 unless I did it within 24 hours which would land me $400.

This Mystery shopping is a survey research to evaluate limiting factors of some specific products sales and services. The aim is to identify and infer solutions to improve the product sales and customer service satisfaction. Enclosed in this packet is an ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTION containing the details of the assignment and a CHECK to fund the assignment.
THE CHECK: Funds for the assignment will be available to you after depositing the check into your checking or savings bank account.
ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTION: You will be evaluating the nearest Local Stores around you it might be either CVS, WALMART, WALLGREENS, BEST-BUY, TARGET, RITE-AID, KROGER etc... Our check
covers all expenses which includes valuation, shopping taxes, and your compensation of $200 for completing this survey assignment. You will purchase 8 E-BAY Gift Cards in total… $1,500 ($200 x 100) from either two or three stores. An evaluation report form will be sent to you after completing your assignment.
