Rude telemarketers

I received a phone call from a woman on March 21, 2023. She was rude and gave me attitude and back handed comments. She refused to provide her name even though a asked her several times. She outright refused and when I said I'm not getting off the line until she provides her name, she hung up on me. I want an apology, from her directly. I will never forget her tone and rude voice. (416) 865-2639 is the number that she called from at 18:47 PST.

The company "Optima Communications" contacted me at work, on my work phone number on behalf of Scotiabank about a life insurance policy that I am apparently eligible for. Scotiabank does not have my current work information and therefore could not have provided the phone number Optima Communications used. In addition, Scotiabank has not heard of "Optima Communications" and has no relation to them.

The person on the phone knew my full name and place of work, as well as the bank I use. What else they might know is unknown at this time. This company is undoubtedly committing some sort of scam.
