Travelo1 will advertise very low flight fares and flight availability. Naturally, you will want to purchase the tickets as it comes across as an Expedia type of purchase making you think it is legit. Once you make the purchase, they will call you to confirm the tickets. However, the tickets you selected will 'not be available' and you will have to choose other flight times, days, seat class, etc., which will be hundreds of dollars more than the ones you thought you were purchasing. When you ask to speak with a manager, they will say they are the manager. If you hang up and call back, that person is also a manager. Apparently everyone at this place is a manager and there is no real supervisor person you can speak to. They also claim that they do not allow refunds and are not subject to the same 24h cancellation policy as the actual airlines themselves. Also - they will tell you that the ticket you have chosen does not allow for a checked bag, carry on OR personal item. When you tell that that's fine, they will argue with you about how will you travel with no luggage. On top of the above, the company continues to call, text and email you multiple, multiple times a day to 'confirm the tickets'.

Purchased flight tickets. 2 minutes after purchase the “airline” called and said I purchased restricted tickets that can’t be cancelled, I can’t sit with my 6 year old kid or husband, I can’t take any bags carry on or checked bags, and I can’t purchase to have any bags. I would need to upgrade to purchase main cabin tickets and not economy tickets. The new tickets would now cost me another $1,000.00. The proceed to tell at me and tell me that I have to purchase upgraded tickets. I can’t have my money back, I can’t cancel. And they have been calling me continuously and harassing me about payment and upgrades.

When I booked my hotel through reservations portal there was no itemized breakdown of extra fees that would be processed. Once purchased there was a fee that was not explained. When I called the customer service within minutes of my booking they were not helpful and would not refund me my money. I asked to speak to a supervisor and waited on hold for an hour and then was disconnected. After speaking with another representative, reservations portal offered me 10% back and it wasn't until I threatened to write a review that they offered me 15% back. This was still not the price of the fees. The company emailed me saying they were going to get in touch with the hotel partner and would keep in touch. This has been going on for almost a month and I've spoken to 6 different people in the meantime and they all gave me the same run around. This is something reservations portal said would be resolved in 24-48 hours which is not true. Each time reservations portal tries to reach out to the hotel partner they supposedly cannot get in touch with them. When I spoke to another person they said that I should try to contact the hotel myself and I did very easily. The hotel said they had nothing to do with this company. I also thought it was interesting that 2 phone numbers that I used to speak with representatives are now disconnected from reservations portal. Do not use reservations portal! Very suspicious!! This has still not been resolved.

Found their website through Fairscraper.com/priceline. Got a confirmation email after I booked my flight. The email contained grammatically incorrect statement and a "pending" reservation with Delta. Delta had no record of the reservation. When I called the customer service phone number it did not identify as travel01.com and went to voicemail. I called back again and got a live person. When I questioned these things, they eventually hung up on me. Later, I received a follow up email that I needed to contact them and that it was urgent to complete my reservation. At this point no money has been charged to my account, but they do have my credit card information.

Click2Book.us advertised reasonably-priced airfares which I booked. A few hours later they wanted to charge me more because they claimed the original fare was no longer available. Then they did not allow me to cancel and wanted to charge a cancellation fee of $500. No matter how much I insisted on cancelling the transaction, they continued to badger me into paying for the more expensive airfare which I refused. I contacted my credit card company immediately to dispute the original amount charged which went through. I found out later that they tried four times to run the same amount through.

Stay away from this website! It's a wonder they are still allowed to operate.

I booked a flight through this agency topflightfares.com for which I selected an economy ticket for 12/22/24 at 8:51 pm with United Airlines. Upon placing a payment, I got a reference number with a pending ticket. I called the number and was transferred to an individual who told me it was a standby ticket that was booked. If I wanted to secure a ticket it would cost me $391. When I called back ~ 15 minutes later, the person told me they no longer had the 391 seat available but they could offer me another ticket for $495 or a next day ticket for $398. This didn’t make any sense to me.

This site is such a scam!! I booked a flight online for myself and a friend; 15 minutes later, a representative called and tried to upsell me a different flight on a different airline at different times. He tells me the flight I originally booked did not actually have tickets for the price the site listed. Instead, I could book my original flight for $1800 (the original price was $325) or switch carriers and times. Not to mention, my original flight was non-stop, and the new flight options would have layovers. When I asked to speak to a manager, he placed me on hold for more than 30 minutes. I had to contact my credit card company and dispute the charges. Now the representative keeps calling and texting me too.

I booked a flight through Farecompare.com and it sent me to Travelo1.com. I booked the flight through them. In minutes they called me even though the ticket stated they were still processing. They told me the flight I booked was not available and tried to force me to buy tickets that were 4 times the amount as the original price. They then tried to charge an extra fee for luggage, seat selection, preferred time, and date. Even though I booked the flight with a specific date and time with insurance, luggage, and seat selection, they still tried to charge extra. I did not agree and told them I wanted to cancel. They refused and continued to push me to buy tickets that were over 4x the original amount. I told them I contacted my bank and they stated the tickets were not refundable and they would be sending me a bill for the unpaid tickets, fines, and fees for canceling. I hung up the phone. Since I froze my card, I was not charged. They have since called me over 60 times and have sent over 40 text messages trying to force me to buy tickets I did not agree to. I have told them to stop contacting me. This did not help. They are continuing to call and harass me every couple of hours. I block each number but they call from different numbers each time. They also text from different numbers as well.

This business lure customers into thinking they’re getting cheap flight deals. You book a ticket, enter your travel dates, passenger name, DOB, payment info and the billing address as if it’s a usual process. Check out and you get an email with itinerary, then it continues to say the e ticket will be issued within a few hours. Which was surprising to me because I would expect my e ticket to issue right after the transaction.

I waited for a few hours then I saw an email claiming they had been trying to contact me as there’s an urgent action required for my reservation. I called the number provided on the email, then got passed on to 2 people to speak to. She told me she needed to make me aware of the restrictions on my booking and proceeded to say I’m not allowed to have carry on of which the webside said it was included with the booking. Then things got weird when she told me I only have to carry my wallet and ID, continued to say after they issue my ticket I would not be able to check in on line but rather have to go to the airport 4 hours prior to the departure to check in and she had no answer for me when I asked why I had to go to the airport 4 hours prior to the departure if I am not getting on the international flight. They also said the price I saw was not guaranteed and might change depending on the price increase when they finally issue a ticket. Everything about this experience did not make sense and I started yelling from the top of my lungs and told the person on the line they’re scammers and I did not want to listen to anymore of what she had to say. Then there was silence and then I said oh, you were called out on scamming now you have nothing to say? Still no answer and I just hung up there after. The only good thing is my card had not been charged yet and I was able to take care of things before they even got a chance to charge me. I just do not want anyone to fall a victim or ever use this booking site.

Bought 2 airline tickets. Then was called and told my information was incorrect and then told I couldnt bring or purchase any luggage. They told me if I needed a bag I needed to upgrade my seat. The upgrade was 4x the price I agreed to. The confirmation email specifically stated it was an economy seat I purchased. There was no information contained anywhere that stated bags could not be brought. They have since called me nonstop and sent me harassing emails.

skyfinder is falsely advertising $200.00 Delta flights. I booked and was sent a confirmation only to be called a few minutes later to be told the flights are not available and was told I could receive a "discount" instead. When I asked why I received a confirmation I was told those prices are not longer valid I informed them there are at least 12 different flight advertised at that price and asked if I could book one of those. Without checking I was told no. I then inquired how their polices and asked how could they no honor these prices when 1. it was advertised 2. I booked and received a confirmation. I was not given an answer. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM

This company led me to believe they were affiliated with Allegiant Airlines and would help me remedy a name correction on a reservation I had just made. (July 2nd) They could help but at the egregious fee of $175 or otherwise the traveler couldn't travel. They also lied and said if I cancelled the reservation and rebooked with correct name spelling, I would lose almost 75% of my booking cost as well as incur a $150 cancellation fee. I would have lost over $500. (Allegiant does not charge a fee if cancelled within 24 hrs of booking, which I didn't know then) They had me sign an authorization for name correction, charged my card and even sent me an email confirmation of the change. Which only yesterday, (July 23) as I spoke with an Allegiant representative, discovered they didn't collect any money (Allegiant), nor was the change made.

Booked my flight for a specific airline, was told when I called to see if I could get seats together, but was told had to upgrade our seats. So I agreed to up grade my tickets to get seats together so I did; thinking it was my original airline. When I got my email I seen my airline changed and emailed them right away not to get a response till after another 24 hours. Been trying to cancel for a refund and the company refuses to let me speak with a manager, I was hung up on repeatedly and not talking with the airline finding out that the Tavel company took another 1000 for my tickets then what they were originally priced. So there was no upgrade just theft.

This scammer advertises “Free Cancelation” for booking a rental car. However, if a reservation is canceled, they do not give the money back. Instead it is stored as a credit. These rules are not shared as part of the transaction. The refund rules are revealed only after payment is received where they inform you: You must pay $65 to get a refund.

This is a travel website . I called as it was an advertising cheap flights to Florida . I filled out info regarding flight and credit card . Within minutes I received a call saying they needed to charge more for flight - seats and asking for a copy of my license . I sent it . I kept receiving calls from them . I realized it was a scam . I blocked my credit card but they were able to charge the $139. I never received a plane ticket or a refund when I asked for it . I read the reviews of this company after ( should have done it before ) and many people had the same experience . Please check out this company .

On Google maps, I found Sunset Fisherman Beach Resort Playa, in Playa de Carmen Mexico. An option for booking it was, nextdayhotels.com. I went to this site and completed my transaction and received confirmation. Upon arriving at the hotel(condos) they asked for which unit we would be in. No room was listed on the booking. Attempting to call Next Day Hotels i got a disconnected number. Searching more I find another number where a woman answered but would not give her name, only saying she was the third party and couldn't help, but have us another phone number. This number answered a male who said he wasn't allowed to talk to customers... the hotel Sunset Fisherman had no record of my name or reservation.

- Holmes, NY, USA

I booked a car rental online on Carjet.com and never received a confirmation email. Checking on their website, they showed “couldn’t find booking” status. They required a deposit, which they took from my account. They have no email, no chat or US number to call them. There is no way to dispute the charges.

- Euless, TX, USA

Website setup as a hotel booking site, it is fake, they will never reserve a room, just take your money and then pretend to issue a refund once you email them
