I was looking for a Yorkie puppy last night on line. I found a yorkie named Lily it ask for my email address and phone number they would send photo and more information. I did receive a email with four photos and two videos of her playing. With in a couple of minutes I received a text asking if I got my email. I replied yes can I call you. I did call and speak with a man that had a foreign accent. I wanted to know how the dog would be shipped from Alabama to Indianapolis. I was told for $550 they would fly her with a nanny to Indianapolis International Airport on the day I wanted her. I asked how to I pay for her? He said, Zelle, paypal, they could not take Major credit cards at this time. I logged into my bank to make the money transfer and my son was looking at the email and googled there name and seen it was a huge scam. They did not get my money. They just left me very heartbroken and angry that people do this stuff. I just now opened the email to down load it to a PDF file to attach it and it says the email has been deleted. I do have the email on my cell phone.

This site comes across like a legit site, which made it pretty easy to engage with. When submitting a request for more information about a puppy, we got a quick response and even an initial "screening" of what type of house we had, number of kids, etc. When we approached about next steps, the email conversation quickly became very pushy and trying to get a deposit. We never got the name of the "breeder" or sales contract, etc. There was a "precise address" provided in NC, but looking up the address there's no indication of a business operating out of this location. Even after requesting a phone call, the response was still pushy to get a deposit first. We looked up the website in WHOIS and discovered that this website was only set up in Feb 2023 and no renewal for the domain. Way to shady.

I was looking to adopt a Cavapoo puppy. I found several breeders with Facebook pages and reached out to a few breeders about puppies they had listed as available on their Facebook or a website that I was routed to through Facebook. A man named William (or Williams) Ford from Greenwood Doodles emailed me about a puppy named Olive. She was listed on the greenwooddoodles.com website for $1,300. I was told the puppy could be flown to me via a flight nanny service (from breeder’s location in Alabama to me in Illinois) for an additional $150. On July 3, we agreed I would pay the deposit and the rest would be paid upon delivery. I had to send the $500 through Venmo to his friend’s Venmo account because William(s) didn’t have a Venmo account. He wanted me to send the money via Zelle or Apple Pay, but I don’t have accounts for those. So I sent $500 to Nazer Tucker’s Venmo account. (Later I found out that Nazer is a friend of Mr. Ford.)

Almost immediately after the transaction for the $500 went through, I got an email from Wm Ford saying I needed to send the rest of the money, which would’ve been another $950. I then voiced my concern that I was getting scammed because that wasn’t what we had agreed on. Needless to say, we went back & forth emailing for a couple of days, him asking for more money upfront & me refusing. Then I suggested maybe my husband and I would drive the 12-13 hours from Illinois to Dothan, Alabama, to pick up the puppy in person. He wouldn’t give me the kennel address and told me to meet him at 1500 Virwood Dr. in Dothan, Alabama. I asked that before we drove that far could he FaceTime or Videochat so that I could see the puppy, just to be sure it actually existed? Mr. Ford adamantly refused. He called me and tried to convince me that I was being irrational and that I’d need to trust him. Then he tried to get me to send more money after I wasn’t sure we’d travel that far with no proof the puppy is real. He then sent me more pictures & a recorded video, which he could’ve taken from another breeder’s website or Facebook page. In fact, I DID find a picture on the Greenwood Doodles website that was also on another breeder’s page. Mr. Ford was hard to understand because he spoke in a very heavy middle-Eastern accent and his English was not great. But we finally went back to the original agreement and he’d go ahead and send the puppy to me & I could give the remaining $950 to the fight nanny. He said he’d send the flight information to me the next day, I didn’t hear anything from him, so I texted him that next evening. He then told me he’d at least need the $150 for the flight nanny services upfront. I thought, here we go again! I knew if I sent that $150, he’d have another request for MORE money sent upfront. So I refused to send any more money and that’s the last I heard.

I joined a Facebook group for rehoming Boston Terriers and found a "breeder" that had a male puppy available. I contacted them and provided my name and address for the adoption. I also gave them my phone number and email address. I sent money for the adoption via Zelle and was told that I would have to pay for shipping, insurance and a crate. I was told to track my delivery through a company called USPSLogisticsShipping. A representative from this company emailed me and wanted me to Zelle or Apple Pay them the money for the insurance and the crate. Which I did. Then I was told that I needed to pay for a PARVO vaccine. I then told them that I wanted the money refunded and that I wanted to pull out of the deal. The seller stated that she talked to the company and paid for the vaccine. I told the seller that we did not want to go forward with the delivery and that I would my money refunded. The seller told me that she tried to contact the company again and that they had already taken off and were in flight. I have not heard from anyone since then. I used both Apple Pay and Zelle. the seller was Ava Mia Gabriella and we spoke via Facebook messenger but she had me send money using her email of [email protected] (Zelle). USPSLogisticsShipping had me send money to [email protected] (Zelle) and [email protected] (Zelle) and phone number 760-590-5638 (ApplePay). The seller made me believe that she was sincere and that she trusted the shipping company with her "baby" (puppy).

I first saw the person's Facebook page so it has a link that i clicked on to direct me to the website. I tried to find the true location of this business but it is not on the website. So i first emailed the person using the email on website [email protected] to ask general questions regarding the puppies but the person emailed me back and asked for my number. I replied to the email and asked for their number which they sent it to me but from a different email address [email protected]. i asked where are they located they told me Montgomery, Al but i replied and wanted to know a specific location so i can stop by and see the puppies but i have not heard anything else from this person. It just seems suspicious to me.

Advertised Old English Sheepdogs for sale on Facebook, think she was also in with another Facebook person that says she was the admin for a group called Old English Sheepdogs and Puppies and Dogs for Adoption/Rehoming/Discussions, Karen Sampson. Multiple texts messages and pictures of the puppy were sent to my daughter. She sent 300 via Venmo for deposit and was told she had to send remainder to have paperwork and vet checkup and microchips done prior to pick up. My daughter was trying to be very cautious by contacting the admin of this other group and see if the person she was purchasing from was legitimate and she was told she was. My daughter then received a contract from the supposed seller, Shari Higgins Dalton. She did not sign and send back as she started receiving text messages from Shari the seller stating she had to go out of town due to her father in laws sudden death and she was going to send the puppy via a transport company that she had already given the puppy to. My daughter was sent an email from the supposed transport company which when she sent it to me and I started calling and researching was very suspicious. They wanted payment of 201.00. We emailed them and said we would meet them somewhere to get the puppy and pay then and give a credit card if they needed until we paid cash. We did not hear back from the transport company. The link in the email, http://talenttransportation.com took us to a site with a different name, but it does have the name Talent Transportation on the website with this email https://talenttransportation.com/contact/#. We called the number and a foreign person answered and asked us to email only. Please help us with this problem or guide us to someone that can help. Apparently the supposed seller and the conspirator that had the facebook account are both blocked or off of facebook now.

I joined a Facebook group called tollers available for adoption. I messaged one of the admins, klaus Damian, and he said he had a female Duck Tolling retriever available. He asked me questions about what we knew...what kind of food we would give the puppy, etc, and he gave us advice about care. He told us we would get a puppy care "manual"....he also said his dogs were AKC registered....please verify. We didn't ask for paperwork before giving the deposit. Get the paperwork and verify with AKC

They will message an email pictures and videos of the dogs. And gain your trust that you will receive the dog. Then recommend a fake transport service that attempt to get more money out of you.

The seller was offering a puppy that I was able to go see. The seller asked for $300 to be able to have a deposit on the puppy before I could meet it. I was going to go the next day to meet the puppy but they asked for another $200 because they needed to take it to the vet for a vet check. After that they changed from getting the puppy in CT to Ny, I then drove 6 hours one way to south of Buffalo, ny to find out that I was scammed. They then deleted me from the page I saw the puppy on

I was asked to send money by Zelle for $330 to get the paperwork done Then when the puppy was delivered and everything was okay with the puppy then would send the additional $400 to complete my transaction. The next thing I know I get an email from [email protected] saying before they could ship the puppy I needed to send $850 for a temperature regulatory crate. After that my bank warned me that it was a scam, because usually there is no additional cost from except the $400 to complete the cost of the puppy. I contacted the person about what was emailed she told all kind of different ways I could get the money, but I kept expressing to her regardless what I did the bank would not release the money because it sounded like a scam. I inform what I was told and sent me this long message about she's not a scammer. At that point I knew something was up.

Air Pets was supposed to be used to deliver a puppy ordered. A tracking number was provided and prior to departure, a refundable deposit was requested for pet care due to a layover in Little Rock Arkansas. Once they arrived there, another deposit was requested for pet city permit. After all deposits were paid, the company stopped responding to messages.

I bought a teacup poodle dog that was never delivered. They sent me videos, tracking information and other information via text. It was all a scam. They have my name, number and home address.

I was searching online for a Corgis puppy breeder. I found the website and is was very well made. I asked a question about one of the puppies and was responded to quickly. I had a long email conversation, and I chose to make the purchase. They offered a Venmo as an option, and had a very well written contract/bill of sale. After the purchase I was told that when delivery arrangements had been made I would be notified. I received confirmation the time I was given. They even provided a tracking number. Then I was notified by the delivery company that a climate controlled crate was needed and it would cost an additional $900. I tried to contact the seller at every contact given. I received an automated leave a message for my call and “undeliverable” for my emails.

I am currently working with someone named Jose Rios who claims to be the owner of this corgi website: https://corgibreedersstore.com/

Everything was going well so far until I zelled him $750 for the puppy plus delivery to Boston, MA. My bank blocked it because they said it was suspicious. I called the seller at the provided phone number in the contract, +1502-236-4010 but it did not ring. It was a strange number with an automatic message saying that "thank you for calling our customer service. Please let us know if you want to remove your name from our calling list, press 1, etc...". What a strange number!

I emailed the seller saying that I want to talk to him on the phone, what would be a number to call? He called me using a different phone number (916-902-3014) and he questioned me saying he doesn't like that I am hesitant and thinking of him as a potential scammer! (and how his family has been around for a long time doing dog breeding services like this and he doesn't appreciate being doubted!)

I searched around on the internet and come across your post that has the same phone number and home address of this seller! (just with a different website).

I canceled my payment via my bank ASAP and now writing this comment... SO sad it was all a scam...

I was looking to buy a Maltese puppy. I found "Royal Maltese" and entered my info (excluding my phone number) and almost immediately I received a response from someone who claimed to be Stephanie, telling me they only had 2 puppies left, 1 that meet my criteria exactly. The cost was $659+$150 air transport. I asked if they could hold her until after Thanksgiving and was told that would be no problem. I was told that they accept Zelle, Google Pay, Venmo, etc. Here is the info they gave me for Zelle: ZELLE PAY DETAILS

Email:[email protected]

Name: Rasheed Oruche

Amount:$800

Memo:****

Once you are done just take a screenshot of the completed payments and send here for confirmation

It didn't work, so I asked if I could send it through Google Pay since that was one of the options listed. "she" said, "My Google Pay has issues." So I then asked since she w[censored]ding the dog for a few weeks if I could send a check. It would have plenty of time to clear before getting the dog, but she refused, claiming having had a bad experience with a check (all of this is in the emails sent to me). She then tells me to go to CVS (I work for CVS) and put the $800 on Vanilla Visa cards. I didn't want to just send $800 to them, untraceable. Her reply was that they would have a delivery service pick her up at the airport, bring her to my house and collect the cards. I thought that would be safe so I agreed. After purchasing the cards, I was told to take pictures of them and send them to them, OUT OF THE PACKAGES. I took them out and sent pics of the front of both ($300+$500). She then told me to take a picture of the BACK of each card. Red flags went up and I called the AARP Fraud hotline and was told immediately it was a scam. I texted "Stephanie" who tried everything to get me to send the CVV numbers. I backed out of the deal.
