On December 21, 2022, David and Carlos from “One Stop Shop” (as recommended by HomeAdvisor) arrived at our home to quote our kitchen countertop remodeling job. We contracted an agreement and I paid the invoice of $3500.00 up front, with a verbal consent from David that the work would be completed before the end of the week. The business owner, Rebekah Amaro, apologized for the delay and came out with granite samples for us to choose on January 5, 2023. Rebekah signed an amended contract that the countertop installation would be completed on or before January 22, 2023. On January 10, 2023, the crew came and removed our existing kitchen countertops and sink, but asked us for more money in order to purchase the granite slab and polish. Since the size and color of the granite was already described in our agreement, we did not pay. They were to return and install our new countertops and sink on January 17, 2023. As of today, January 24, 2023, we do not have a functional kitchen and “One Stop Shop” has not returned to do any further work.
