I was hired on Sept. 1st by Omni Shipping Services, Inc. as a “Shipping Agent.” I was told that I would be similar to a warehouse, receiving packages from home, verifying the contents made it safely, and consolidating them to be reshipped out. After a month of working with no pay and weeks without contact from my Manager, I began to research the company. I found article upon article of other people working for similar companies doing similar things and never getting paid just like me. I started to wonder if the shipments I was receiving were actually legal or not. I started to become extremely uneasy and decided to report the suspicious activity.
