Received a notice of intent to file an IRS 1099C form on an old debt from 2007 from Chase bank never once have I had an account with Chase bank or credit card chase bank asking for me to send in $904.71.

My husband got a like letter with a 1099-C stated that we must pay a one time payment of$1,335.14 or $287.41 for 6 months. Also included was a 1099-C that had to be filed on our 2019 taxes. The company’s name is Taylor and Associates. P.O. Box 1703 Colton, Ca. 92324. Phone(877) 234-3918. This must be a scam!

The offices of Taylor and associates Co. Mailed me a letter threatening me to file 1099-c that I owed $2,383.33, which I don’t remember owing in any amount that was listed on the letter. The threat states that. if I don’t pay or make any settlements with them, then, I.R.S. Will add the money I owe Taylor and Michaels to my total taxable income. And this company is willing to offer 2 settlement options; one time payment of $476.67 or 6 monthly payments of $99.20.

The Offices of Taylor & Associates are trying to threaten me around tax season saying I owe my current bank around $1000 and they'll accept $238.00 to payoff loan, and if I do not accept the terms I need to mail in the 1099-C they enclosed with my IRS Tax forms. First of all I doubt my bank would let me open an acct. with them if I owed them money, and second of all I already filed my taxes so I'm not mailing any fake tax extension into the IRS unless the IRS tells me to, because if you really owe the IRS, THEY WILL FIND YOU AND LET YOU KNOW THEMSELVES, THEY DON'T NEED TO GO THROUGH A 3RD PARTY SINCE THEY ARE THE IRS!

I received a letter in mail with the header of "Offices of Taylor and Associates" from Colton, CA. The letter says it is a notice of intention to file an I.R.S. 1099-C form for a debt that they own. With-in the statement they change names to "Taylor and Michaels". The original creditor is listed as "First Bank Delaware". I did a google search for Taylor and Associates and found none in CA, Taylor and Michaels came up with a ScamPulse.com as already having scam complaints, and First Bank Delaware came back as permanently closed. The amount of the debt doesn't match anything on my credit report. I had not received anything prior from any of the company names listed. They were requesting a one time payment of $359.07 or 6 monthly payments of 69.23. No "due" date listed for when I would need to respond by to avoid the filing of the IRS form. It arrived in a plain envelope with no name or return address on it. The postal mark zip code was for Temecula, CA.

I received a similar Notice of Intention to File an I.R.S. 1099-C Form from Offices of Taylor and Associates. It was for a nearly 20 year old debt that I believe is accurate. I became unemployed for many months and was unable to pay. If I understand the law, granted it is from research on the web, debtors are required to file these forms for any canceled or forgiven debt as the debt amount forgiven is considered income. If so, how is my paying Taylor and Associates an arbitrary amount ($870 or $180/month for 6 months) going to eliminate filing of that IRS form? Reeks of a scam.

A threat to file 1099-c for a debt they say was charged off on 5/28 2009 for a legacy visa I never had then or before then, it’s not even on my credit report, I went back to 2005 and didn’t see it. It’s not even in my correct last name that I’ve had for over 6 years!! I’d like informed if this is a scam company.

They sent a intent to file form 1099-c in regards to a supposed credit card that the paper states was charged off in 2009..I never had said card in 2009 and they don’t even have my correct last name that I’ve had for over 6 years. I did file a complaint with ScamPulse.com already.

Received a Notice of Intention to File an IRS 1099-C Form. The original creditor is from a bank I have never been affiliated with, and the Office of Taylor and Michaels is now charging me. This immediately sounded fishy. They want a "one-time payment" to settle this account or they will be submitting this form. Thing is, the date charge is from 2007, and they are just contacting me now? I have zero record of this in my credit history. Not paying any money to these people.
