Received the same letter with the 1099 for a supposed debt to a company I have never heard of. Called the number to have a little fun after reading the other comments. Was put on hold forever and finally hung up. I have better things to do like shred the stupid letter.

I received a letter with a 1099c also today claiming I owed money to Bank first from 2008. They wanted a settlement of $240. I have never had an account with Bank first. I hope most people look this up before just sending money to so called lawyers who want free money instead of getting a JOB!

I have also received a letter from this company and an email stating someone has been trying to access my account. Which I haven't had for many years. These people are getting so good at these scams. Some are hard to tell the difference. I hope that someone is able to go after them before they get a hold of someone, especially the elderly, that don't know any better.

My friend showed me the stupid letter with fake 1099c I laughed and quickly pointed out all the discrepancies that were screaming at me looking at this whatever it is ! Lol - 1) the box under Offices of Taylor etc had no irs identification number 2) did not state the origination of debt /or initial amount - but said they owned debt ? Ok lol 3) The total debt was 13,000.00 - but they would “accept” 1x payment of 1,200.00 or 4 monthly payments 325.00 lol blah blah omg too funny
4) also did not even need to do math on numbers they did provided - charge off , interest blah blahhh- bc it was more than obvious made no sense - these are clearly total [censored]
5) IRS never sends out forms of any kind - never - especially looking stupid like this
6) any discharged debt - from many years ago is a moot subject - done deal - discharged debt does not rise from the dead ever lol
And any person who pays these freaks really needs to be institutionalized along with these freak [censored] ! Hahahaha

Received a letter in the mail today. Same letter as others- claiming I owed a debt to Wells Fargo. I've never had a Wells Fargo account

I knew it was fake and called them anyways just to annoy them as long as possible. Very fake and non professional on the phone. Very fun and easy to rile up. I highly recommend it. Phone number given is 18005471697.

I just received a letter from the “Offices of Taylor and Associates” saying they were the legal owners of an account that I owed money to. Total BS. They claim they will write the debt off to the IRS and the IRS would add the amount to my taxable income. But of course they will settle a $2000+ debt for only $433 which can be paid with monthly payments. These sorts of people make me sick and definitely have a special place in Hell reserved for themselves.

Threatening letter stating they will garnish our income tax $2200 if we don’t pay our past bill from Wells Fargo with a settlement of $450! I never had an account at this bank my entire life! They will also take monthly payments of $93. I would not give these people access to your account! Please beware.

Got a letter in the mail with a 1099 form threatening to file an IRS C filing for tax withholdings against me if I didn’t pay for a Wells Fargo account. They will accept $454.84, original debt is $1039.17. They will take $2274.22 if I don’t pay or set up payments arrangements of $93.13 a month. Never had a Wells Fargo Account!

I just got a letter today from this company stating that I owe them money from a credit card through wells fargo. Well I never had a wells fargo credit card. She said that this was in 2008 that I left a balance of $457.52 and if I did not pay this they would report it to the IRS to garnish my wadges.

I received a letter (under my maiden name) that said I needed to settle a debt with them or they would reach out to the IRS to collect money from me? Last I checked, I had no debt, nor has anyone from the IRS reached out to me regarding an old debt. Per the letter, the original creditor was "Household" and the charge off date was 6/30/2006. So I'm supposed to believe that I can settle with a known scammer for over $1600 on a debt that's supposedly over 14 years old. Sure...that sounds about right (insert sarcasm here)...

They sent me a letter saying I own a company. I have never heard of. They gave me two opinions to pay them by, said if not paid they where going to turn it over to the IRS which they would ad intrest , taxes on the money. I looked them up online other people said the same thing, it was a scam.

Received a letter from the Office of Taylor and Associates, opened it and realized just another bottom feeder debt collection agency trying to bull squirt me into giving them some money. Since when does the IRS collect non Tax related debt for private collection agency's, well in case your wondering NEVER! The whole primmest of the letter is crap. Can you imagine a representative of that debt agency in court trying to convince a judge of the validly of such a bogus document. If anybody gets such a letter incorporating the IRS in a non related IRS tax debt throw it away or better yet throw it back at them.

I just got the same letter. I called because I have no idea who creditor Household Renaissance Fresh is they say I owe from 14 years ago. I was hung up on once when I asked for proof this was my debt. Called back and the lady sounded like she smoked 4 packs of cigarettes a day and was very unprofessional. Said she wanted to go home and is past working hours. I’m like why did you answer then? I again said this is not a debt I owe or even sounds familiar on anyway. I said send me a signed application by me for the credit then. She yelled at me and said she will just file the notice to IRS! What a scam. I was called a bi**h as well for asking for further info and proof. Don’t give them any money! Scam scam scam. Predatory people! How awful if them especially with all that has been going on this year. Shame on them.
