Message appeared on screen that there were problems with my computer, it appeared to be a warning from MICROSOFT, and instructed to immediately call a number 1-888-882-4244 for help in resolving the issues. After several hours with them working on my system remotely and supposedly installing a cloud firewall for protection I was instructed to pay for the service and firewall by electronic check, which I did (though stupid in retrospect)
