Type of a scam Online Purchase
I order a pair of trainers (AIR MAX 97 PINK) from what I thought was a uk company (lessordinary.org.uk). Payment was taken straight away via debit card by a company called (cntobe.com) linked to a stansted account. I am now in the procedure of dealing with this with trading standards. They should be shut down!
I want my money back, I live in the US. How should I go about retrieving my money. I paid with PayPal. Thank You!
I sent my complaint to them and I have also contacted my bank to block the transaction.

They are passing off their poor quality fake product with Merrell (a brand of hiking shoes)
This is misrepresentation because:
1. Represented on Facebook ad as Merrell - “Merrell 50% off”
2. On ad “Moab 2” - a Merrell product name
3. See photos of their web-site - the products are called “Moab 2”
- See badge on tongue - “M” Merrell (Pic “Merrell1”)
- See sole : green insert - it’s a Merrell sole - the sole on fake product is all black
- See weight on pic. (“Merrell3”) of their web-site : They say their shoes weigh “1lb 15oz” - this is the weight of a real Merrell pair of Moab.
- Their shoes are only 14.6oz
4. Pic “Merrell4” shows how the misrepresentation works - they mix photos of the real with the fake products.
I've reported them to Paypal.
I purchased a "smartwatch" from a Facebook add with 2 incorporated bluetooth headsets. What I got was an ordinary fitness band with a cheap immitation of a single earphone, immitating the Apple Air pods.
I have also contacted the UK Trading authorities and got a template from their website to start legal action for fraudulent sale. They just refuse to refund me, as they replied by email that I need to send their product to China although the "return to address" from their parcel was a UK address. I used tracked and signed Postal services and I have all the evidence they made illegal money.
The correct one is CB23 6DP for that street. Complain to UK authorities. I did this.
