I have had calls from 928-772-7562 for the last three days claiming to be from Microsoft Tech Support telling me that there is something wrong with my computer. When I argue that there is not they hang up on me. I have tried calling the number back and it says it's disconnected.

Phone caller with heavy accent indicates he is from Microsoft Tech Support and that they see that my computer has been hacked and is actively being attacked. He asks for technical information from the command line and says they will fix and protect. Do not give this information or allow them to take control of your computer. I checked with Microsoft Tech Support and they NEVER cold call such as this. The number he called from was 884-577-1246 and when pressed for a callback number he gave 302-482-8155. This is a Delaware ac and he said he was in California.

Got a long distance call this morning from a heavily Indian accented David Anderson claiming to be from Microsoft tech support and telling me I had malware on my computer and that he can help me fix it by deleting certain stuff. To make a long story short I refused and got a name and number telling them I would call them back on Thursday morning. The number calling me had nothing to do with the number he gave me to call him back.

The scammers claim they are from Microsoft Tech Support and that they are receiving error messages from my computer.

The guy had an Indian accent in his voice he said he's name was Austin said he was with Microsoft tech support

I have received 11 calls from "Microsoft" telling me my computer is corrupt with major viruses. They ask me to get on the computer and then they will "guide" me through the steps necessary to fix it. First step was to "hold down the 'ctrl' key, while holding down the Windows symbol key." Then when the "run" screen came up, I was instructed to type : EVENTVWR and hit the OK button. I DID NOT do that.

Their ability to speak in English is HORRIBLE! I told them that if someone there could speak English clearly, I would be willing to listen. They keep calling from the phone no: 587-545-50 or "Restricted".

What can I do to make them stop????

FYI - my computer seems to be running just fine, as usual.

Man said he was from Microsoft tech support. He said that my computer would crash if I didn't get on to my computer and do as he directed. He said that my computer had downloaded viruses from when I was searching the web.

He had an Indian accent. It sounded fake.

called to say my computer is infected. need to go in and fix before crashes. know computer infected because we licenced with Microsoft windows. I questioned them but went ahead and followed their instructions on finding file advent and saw all my error messages in red. I let him assess my computer ID and password . gave over phone. friend-computer programmer- said to hang up it is a scam. afraid he correct and they have my bank information. Do you know if Microsoft tech support ever calls anyone. I do have my phone number listed on their website.

30 minutes later I got another call asking me if I decided to let them help because computer is ready to crash. told them computer was taken to friend's house and they hung up on me
