On late July , I looked into ‘ANGI’s website for a possible electrician to do some electrical work on my house. I called Mr Ivan Thomas from Majestic Builds and August 5 he came in and inspected the wiring. He did some work on the dining room and kitchen lighting, I’m not an electrician but I don’t think there was a problem with those areas but he was insistent that there was a correlation. He got hung up on the switch to the kitchen and downstairs which is up to now still hasn’t been resolved. It took him 2 days still was not done instead he told us that he had to rewire the kitchen circuit. Which at that time he made me pay for the part that he claimed he already did. I paid him $415.00.( remember the kitchen switch is not working properly). A week later he gave me an estimate of $838.81. A few days later he contacted me that he had an emergency and he had to go to Georgia. I got no choice but to tell him that’s fine. When he got back he told me he needed $415.00 to buy 100 ft the wires( looked and asked around the highest I got is $175 for 200 ft) I gave him the money on August 23 and that’s when I asked him some questions that lead me to believe that this he is sucking me up to a very costly job which I would call a ‘scam’. I told him on August 26 ,due to insufficient funds that I would have to cancel and I need my money back or the wires that he bought with my money. He keeps telling me and ANGI that he will give me my money back. ANGI already took him out of their list.
