I posted my Mac Book for sale on Craigslist for $650. Right away I got an email from the scammer asking me about the Mac Book. He/She went by the name of ***. *** offered to pay me for shipping fees. Asked me for a mailing address, said she's sending me a check in the mail. I gave her my work address. The following week I received an check for $1950.42. I showed the check to my bank and was told that the same kind of scam had been reported to them that same week. It's sad how some people would take time to scam others, instead of working for and on a legitimate income.
