I received notice that my LendingPoint loan had been sold/transferred to an entity identified as “LPFT Servicing.” I have been unable to independently verify who LPFT Servicing is or what legal entity operates under that name. Online research raises significant concerns regarding the legitimacy and transparency of this servicer. I found reports from other LendingPoint customers expressing similar concerns, including a ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker report involving the same transfer to LPFT Servicing. Additional online research indicates difficulty identifying a registered business, parent company, physical business location, or other verifiable information associated with LPFT Servicing. Given that consumers are being directed to make loan payments and provide financial information to this entity, I am requesting that ScamPulse.com investigate and/or obtain verification of the company’s legal identity and authority to service these LendingPoint accounts.
