I applied for a Virtual Administrative Assistant position via LinkedIn. I received an email from [email protected] with 24 hours offering me the position. He told me I would receive a check for $3,950 in the mail; $3,400 was to be used to purchase equipment and supplies that they would specify after the check cleared and $500 was mine to keep for my first week's compensation. (The weekly $500 compensation was to be for 6 - 8 hours of work.)

I do not have an address or phone number for the company. The check I received today does not have the company name on it.
