I was suspicious from the first interview but tried to give it a chance onto the second interview. Ultimately I determined it was a scam based off instinct and how they presented the information. Not to mention my lack of experience in marketing and my general social awkwardness should have never landed me the job but it did. I heard so little about the charity we would be asking for money for and way more about the “ladder climbing model” they were pushing. Making it all about rising in the ranks and eventually branching off with your own group of marketers. Especially in the second interview it seemed like they were throwing out big salary and earnings numbers to try to hook me and entice me. Attached is a pamphlet they used to illustrate how the ladder climbing works and was their main talking point throughout the two interviews. I will say I did kind of intentionally interview poorly and still got the job so hopefully that means they’re not getting a lot of new hires right now.
