In January 2026, I purchased what I understood to be a one-time $19 meal plan from this business. At the time of purchase, I did not knowingly agree to, or understand that I was enrolling in, a recurring subscription costing $59 per month. After the initial purchase, I discovered recurring $59 charges on my card for access to the company’s meal-plan materials. In my view, the subscription terms and recurring billing arrangement were not clearly and conspicuously disclosed during checkout, or I would not have made the purchase. The materials provided have not delivered the value represented or reasonably expected from the purchase. More importantly, I dispute the recurring charges because I did not knowingly authorize ongoing monthly billing. I previously contacted the company to request cancellation and an end to the charges, but I did not receive an acknowledgment or meaningful response. I have also contacted my card issuer regarding these transactions. Their website is no longer functioning either.
