I was contacted by a recording that stated that i had a warrant for my arrest and that it was concerning some fraudulent activity with my Social Security number, I then followed the but when I started asking questions the caller hung up. I then called the number back and a female answered.We began asking her questions about the call but she answered with a foreign accent that she “doesn’t speak English”. The call came from the following number: (818) 814-3284.

Caller ID said Washington DC, it was a recording threating saying there was an arrest warrant out in my name. When I returned the call, a foreign gentleman answered and said "Thank you for calling the IRS", I immediately hung up the phone.

I did keep the message on my phone.

I receive a robocall on my cell phone. Because I receive so many unsolicited calls I don’t pick up these calls. But these calls leave a robo message stating it’s the FBI and I must return their call or I will be arrested. I’m receiving these calls frequently. One yesterday and again today. I have received them prior to this but blocked the number. I am on the cell phone “Do Not Call” list.

They stated I owe money from taxes 2007 to 2011 that I fraud the IRS and if I did not pay a warrant would be issued for my arrest . State his name was Mike Brown but he was a foreign. Wanted to know how much money I have now and how much could I pay. put me on hold to state they was talking to there supervisor and they said since the warrant has not been issued yet that I could send money or go to Washington . But the first time when I called he states did you receive a call or voice message when I said yes I guess they could not hear me so he said *** you and hung up the phone

I received a call from 516-303-8448 (Plandom Manor NY) He said he was with the IRS. He said there are four lawsuits against me. Then he said within 24 hours you'll be arrested for this. He had an Indian accent. When I called him back, he got irate with me when I asked if I speak to an English speaking person. He said you need to give me your name. When i called back again, the number was disconnected.

I received a call from 559-328-9806 at the calls are coming every half hour, the first call I received was at 11:30a.m., 11:59a.m., 1:09pm, 1:36pm, 2:07pm each time they asked me to call back 559-328-9806. They said they were with the IRS and that this is my last notice, they said the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I must call them right away. It was pre-recorded message, it was female American voice. I called the number back and it was busy.

I received a call at 10:53a.m. from 516-468-9492 said on caller ID Nassauzn 02 NY. When I picked it up she said IRS, I just received notice regarding my tax filings from headquarters will expire 24 working hours after 24 hours will be taken into custody by my local police. Then it said I have 4 serious allegations against my name. We request that you call us back so we can discuss this before any legal action is taken and then they gave the phone number 516-468-9492. Then she left the number and said it twice. You can tell it is a recording.

I received a call on Friday, 7-27-18 in the late afternoon from 315-232-8845 and they left a message. The phone number showed up on phone as Adams, NY. When they left message they did that first, they said for me to call 315-232-8845 or a warrant would come out for my arrest. When they called back later, I tried to get more information, they said representing the IRS and only got the city and phone number, it was a recorded message. They said if I didn't call right away there would be a warrant for my arrest. They said that I had these problems with IRS and I was to call this number.

My phone rang this morning at 11:45 and as I didn't recognize the number, I did not answer. Usually these scammers will not leave a message but this one did. The message was that he was from the Internal Revenue Service (he said IRS) and they had attempted to reach me before. He said this is a final notice that the IRS if filing a law suit against you. To get more info about this case file, call 516-730-6250. Of course I did not respond but called the BBB to report it.
