Type of a scam Tech Support

SCAM-QB's Support

Called the number for QB's, I thought. They accessed my computer and proceeding to tell me I had some corrupt files and in order to fix them I would need to pay $899.99
and would need access to my computer for 2 to 3 hours. Gave them CC info and when they called to confirm I asked are you affiliated with QB's I was told no. I quickly told them to cancel the cc charge immediately, they charged me anyway The company is Internal Accounting Services. So far no luck on the refund.

I was having problems logging into Quickbooks Online. I thought I called Quickbooks technical support. They person said they could help and asked to access my computer through Teamviewer. After bringing up the backend of Quickbooks online on my computer screen, he "showed" me our system was crashing everyone needed to get out and stop working for 2-3 hours while they will fix the problem with the corrupted Quickbooks files. If we waited any longer our information would be lost. They could fix the files for $850 since we didn't have that type of coverage with our current Quickbooks plan. He said he was with Internal Accounting Systems and was authorized by Quickbooks to fix the problem. We told our employees to logoff, paid the guy. Next thing I know someone is moving the mouse around on my computer, deleting information on Google Chrome. I asked if he fixed the Quickbooks Online problem and why was he messing with my laptop. He said both needed to be fixed. There was never a problem with Quickbooks Online. He misrepresented himself and did not tell me the real issue with logging onto to Quickbooks was my laptop. I am concerned about what information they got off of my computer while they were deleting things in Chrome.
