They claimed to be mystery shopping they sent me a check in the mail telling me to cash it and buy eBay cards for $500 and $100 dollars and to take pictures of them front and back and to scratch off the back to reveal the codes and send it to them. I will block their number and rip up the check they are scamming trying to get you to unlawfully buy eBay cards so they can use it. I have no idea where they are getting the $2,950 dollars from to send to people. FRAUD!!!

I was approached with same. I got a check, but did not try to cash it. But I cannot seem to figure out how the scam would work. I am on the fence - still thinking about it, while I am getting a lot of texts rushing me to cash check and buy e-bay cards.
