I want to know why when the indra reps. Came around they said it was mandatory for me to sign even if I already have columbia gas. I noticed on my bill that indra has a different payment than columbia so why do i need indra when I have columbia gas

I receive at least 3 -4 calls per day and always the calling number changes so call block is useless. 732-285-8344 / 908-800-5063 /973-788-4500 / 201-627-5063 / 908-800-6989. I have repeatedly asked for calls to discontinue and they say it will take 72 hours and then calls come again everyday with never a day without.

I WAS AWAY FOR 2 MONTHS[NOT USING ENGERY] & MY BILLS WERE HIGHER THAN EVER BEFORE! STAY AWAY BEFORE INDRA I WAS PAYING .10.75 AFTER JOING IT WENT TO .21!

Good company, good customer service, very honest people, very kind and they've given me a fixed rate guaranteed not to go up, maybe you all should try it, When I started with the variable rate It wasn't good as the one That I have now.

In the face of HUNDREDS of negative reviews, this is obviously a planted review. RUN don't walk away from this reptilian company, or don't blame anyone but yourself if you become ensnared by them and can't get out.

So far it has been good, I have 3 years with Indra as my supplier I've got 1,800 reward dollars during these last 3 years, It has helped me a lot to buy my personal stuff, and helps me save a lot of money.

It is true that they increase rate without notifying. I have had it on auto payment. My Gas & Electric bill kept going higher and higher months after months. It started in the range of $500 when signed the contract. It reached $1454.20. I've stopped auto payment and looking out options deal with the situation. We need to create awareness about their scheme and have them settle the invoices at reasonable rate. I am sure Indira energy must have inserted some fine point in their contract to safeguard themselves.

Yep same here - can’t find a way to make them go away

I just signed it without even thinking twice but he had said it got reject cause we recently moved and that was our old address what should I do ?

I have solar installed and upon several calls and harassments, I opted to sign up indicating there was nothing to lose. I signed up in April 2021 and received my first bill from them in January 2022 of an overcharge of about $300 from what my utility company would have charged. I quickly called and asked for a cancellation, which was to take effect within 2-3 billing cycles. On my February 2022 bill, they overcharged me about $600 and has only offered a refund of $250. Please be aware of this bait and switch company.

My wife and I just found we probably a victim of online house natural-gas sale scheme from Indra Energy. We might have been overcharged for about $1k since January 2021 since I got a cell phone call from a saleperson promoting cheap natural-gas, I made mistake allow the saleman from India talked me into swtiching natural gas supplier for saving money. A week later, I found my previous agreement didn’t allow me to swtich. Then I called the salesman back to cancel it. He said he would. But the canclellation didn't go through, and I forgot to follow up. They only give us a tiny saving for the first month, then over charged us about $1k through the whole year. So after new year, I need to spend time to fight with this sneaky natural-gas supply firm, which is usually quite time consuming. If you have good advice or good experience. Please share with me: [email protected] . I also think NJNG, our utility service company should contact me or verify I have not signed any contract with Indra Energy. I made a terrible mistake to trust the salesman over the phone their price is cheaper than my previous supplier or NJNG. Indra is several times higher than either.

I did not notice Indra charging me more for several months my gas bill was normal, I just got one for $466.00, $341 was Indra deciding they wanted to rip me off, I’m not paying those criminals

They call my house several times a day. I block the number, they start using another number. This has been going on for months. It's to the point of phone harassment!

The reason for my complaint is that in June 2020, when concluding a contract with INDRA ENERGY, I was told the price was 5.3 cents per 1 kilowatt. This price only lasted 2 months and then started to change. Nobody told me about it. My family has 11 people. When I received a $ 944.85 bill in July 2021, I began to check why it was that much. It turned out that INDRA ENERGY raised the price to 19.7 cents per kilowatt, without warning. Other people, my relatives, pay the final price of 15 cents per kilowatt with all taxes and surcharges, I paid the last bill 27.1 cents per kilowatt. I consider the actions of INDRA ENERGY fraud and lawlessness. I demand to return the difference in payment, which is 2500.00 dollars according to my calculations. I attached all monthly invoices from August 2020 till July 2021. For this period, we used 25,424 kilowatts. We over paid INDRA ENERGY $2,011.22. This is nothing but fraud. In case of refusal to resolve this issue, I will be forced to go to court.

I was one that fell for the scam... I was charged an additional 60 to 80 bucks on my bill for about 6 months, with a very low rate per KWH as of 2 months ago I look at my bill and I am charged $249 which caused my electric bill to automatically go delinquent with a 10-day shut-off notice... My normal bill for my house is $150 My bill turned out to be $521 for one month... I had to call back and plead with DLC to not shut my electric off so my daughter and I could still have electricity... As of today nothing has happened but I did file a suit against indra canceled indra and requested a refund... Pretty sure nothing is going to happen but now I know! Just stick with your regular electric company Don't trust anyone

I received offer in my mail. I’ve always used a different energy supplier, usually their rates are as promised for a year before they secretly start a slow increase. Indra made themselves sound good salesman was polite funny and easily understood They took over as supplier immediately all was good for 2billing cycles next 2 I didn’t notice it was a slight increase Covid and summer happened. By June I thought I forgot to pay last bill even with a/c and sweltering heat I have never had a bill that high in 9 years owning my home electric was $93.and supplier was $218. Every time I called to to correct problem I got a woman you couldn’t understand that sounded like she was cooking in the kitchen and was trying to hush child up in background. She said her hus/uhh supervisor will get back to me. It took 8 days. By then next billing cycle started he said he will correct the problem on next cycle because new one already started. I called electric company there’s nothing they can do and to get it changed will take 2-3bills for switch I got new bill Indra gave me a credit for 1bill but still charged me2.5 times higher than what the original offer as supplier was They owe me $330. refund and that’s low balling myself and I still have 1-2 bills I’m still liable to pay yet. How can they get to take over right away but it takes 1-3 billing cycles to get rid of them. I think from the time of all my phone calls my electric company should be held responsible also.

I am in the same boat as you. I am trying to get some sort or refund now and hopefully i can get somewhere with them. I do not know how they get away with this. If we can get enough people together and get a lawyer. I never signed a physical document, did you? My last bill was 800$ and the same time last year before I signed up with them it was 266$. I was contacted by INDRA in April 2020 during the height of Covid19 epidemic . They presented the Pandemic special offer To help seniors like myself during the uncertain times. I am widowed, totally alone , was very vulnerable, scared, wasn't feeling well and succumbed to the lies and hoax! The contact information given to me by INDRA rep proved to be a LIE.
As I called the number given to me and it turned out to be WEARHOUSE in California! The promised rates for KILOWATTS TO BE LOWER THAN MY ELECTRIC company were lie AS WELL and the last bill INDRA rates were 20.9 compare to JCP&L 8.92 according to my electric company.
Now I am hundreds of dollars in debt as I am unable to pay electric bill !
Something has to be done to STOP this company from operating illegitimate gouging business and rip of unsuspected victims.

I fell the victim to the same SCAM or should I call them [censored] during the start of pandemic this 2020 year. With all the scary news coming , numerous people sick, dying I started getting solicitation calls from INDRA promising considerably lower Utility rates .I never used a different than my utility company suppliers and succumbed to the scam, The first month my electric bell was lower, however as months went by it started increase and by August the INDRA rate was 2.5 times higher that from my electric company ! I had couple conversations with same SOLICITOR and by the end of conversation asked to have his full name and number to contact. When I called the number there was no such person by that name and the number belonged to some Wearhouse in L.A ! It was a deliberate attempt to feast on most vulnerable people during pandemic and I fully I intend to contact Utility Commissioner in my state to have them investigated!

September 2012, just return home after kidney transplant got a knock at the door, saleperson said they were from delmarva power and ask me to let him see my electric bill. I said what do you want with my electric bill said he lower my electric bill, I don't have a high electric bill and he said he wasn't going to do anything except. So I believe him because he had a badge that say delmarva on it with his picture. I said I don't my cheaper bill I am fine. Closed my door when I got my monthly bills from delmarva there was another account Palmco Power, When I call the electric company they told me I signed up and they collecting by that time it was $4000.00. I am a senior on a budget and when tried to contact them they said they don't have a account in my name, so I contacted delmarva and they advised me to call them and cancel that on 5/31/16. But the delmarva is still collecting since 2016. I am tired of paying more then what is. $200.00 amonth. Call them get this taken care of and now it's Combia Utilities@IndraEnergy, they can't say they have account in my name
but when said I was contacting a lawyer they was offer $351.57. Where the hell they get that from my is $4000.00 that's suppose to keep quiet. Then I found I was not the only one. Help me please I can't keep paying this high bill. My email [email protected], what can I do.

Contact UTILITY Commissioner in your state as well as get legal advise ! I am sure you can find free legal advise and proceed from there !

Kept receiving phone calls from Delmarva Power, my electricity provider. The hairs on the back of my neck rose when the caller said his name was Eric Smith, while he clearly had an Indian accent. Didn't have the information he wanted (residential Service number), because I am paperless billing. Took forever for my computer to load up, so he said he would call back. Took so long to return the call, I actually had time to print out a copy of the bill. Talked to him again tonight and got as far as getting to the confirmation section. THAT took so long, I was able to put their name into a search and found this site and my fears were confirmed. So, I told him that I knew they were a scam and not to call back. He never said anything, so I guess we hung up on each other. I will call Delmarva about this and hopefully they will put it up on the site and on the bills.
