This company has called me for over 6 months at least 3times a week or more. I filed bankruptcy and after my discharge they started the calls. They said my debt wasn’t covered, threatened law suits, ignored my claim of harassment. My lawyer sent them as cease and diseased letter and even sued them. The people never showed and I lost my case. They knew my last social, the collected amount from my bankruptcy, the creditors, my husband’s information as well. They have now reached out to me with 2 different numbers. The three times I have spoken to them, they were rude, wanted to know how much I can pay and they would reach out to the company that was supposed to be collecting to see if I could settle, threaten lawsuits 10 days after our call numerous times. I just recently was called by a true agency on that debt by the same creditor and the debt collector saw my bankruptcy and dismissed any more calls. I asked that collector who sold them that debt and it was the creditor. I have done collections and if a creditor sells your debt to one agency, that creditor cannot sell it to another. The debt collector can sell your debt to another company. In this case that wasn’t what happened. I had a call from impact then 30 minutes the true debt collection agency. Debts cannot be sold that fast for phone calls to take place. This agency is SCAMMING people and breaking many laws of collecting debts. They will call with a computer generated call stating your name, last 4 and a number to reach them. BEWARE!

Another debt collection scam

I was contacted by Impact Solutions and a woman informed me that I owed CitiBank Visa and if I didn't pay them $3000, I would have to go to court. I told her I never had a CitiBank card and I had a copy of my credit report and there were no charges or anything negative on my report. She said hmm and immediately hung up. The scary thing is she called out the last four digits of my social security number.

This company called stating that my husband owed for a payday loan that he never took out or received. I stated as such, and was told that I must have defrauded my husband and taken one out myself under his information. Again said I did not. Told them that if they could provide me proof of a valid debt owed, that we would be happy to settle anything outstanding on a debt we legally owed for. Was told that they would not provide me proof of anything unless I paid the debt off. Threatening to sue my husband and I for fraud, when no such loans was ever taken out.

This business has called me three times claiming that I owe money for a Payday Loan. Their claim is false and I have told them so. I have told them to stop calling me. They continue to call and scare me by saying that I am liable and that legal action will be taken against me.
