They contacted me out of the blue via email. Out of curiosity, I responded. The thickly Indian accent was hard to understand. After talking to them on the phone and checking out their website, I had a lot of doubts.
1. They wanted me to give my social security number over the phone as a unique identifier. That can be any number. I hesitated and asked to speak to the potential employer to check on the job opportunity
2. Their website lists their founder as "Claudine George" and now shows a white woman with a quote.
3. The job they were trying to recruit me for didn't exist on their "client" website and they would not let me verify it.
4. They pay they were offering always seems to be $35 no matter which India recruiter hits you up..
5. They wanted me to send my resume (which they said they already found).
6. They have a "candidate" portal and instead of asking for the candidate to sign up on it, they instruct you to send things by email and/or talk on phone.
7. Recruiter sent me an email as part of a thread with another (Indian male) with the same qualifications for the job. ?
8. Very third-world scam tactics. They obviously don't know American laws & regulations.
9. Report to Michigan BBB if you have been targeted.
10. I used this outline from another post on here as it sounds exactly the same.
11. If I return talking to them, I have a SSN ready to go. (lol)
12. the customer testimonials are made up.
13. my spidey senses are telling me that its not a good deal.
14. going to report this to BBB in either Michigan or New Jersey.
15. have requested contact with Claudine George and GM in Reno NV

They harassed me like BIll collectors!.Calling me and texting me and sending me emails. They pushed the process more like forced. Giving you little time to think. I initially had stopped replying but I went online and saw a review say the onboarding processing is aggravating. So from that I figured they were real or I at least hoped they were. I had the interview and it seemed normal. i got a call the same day maybe an hour later stating they wanted to make me an offer and will be sending another email and to respond once received like most of their emails. I received the email and got a call from them asking had I received it. I told them yes but as I am reading the email I am seeing that everything they are requesting is to be done within 24 hours. There was an attachment that they wanted me to open up while they were on the phone. I opened it and they needed me to fill it out and stated its for the background check. The form only requested my full name and SSN. It would not let me fill it in and they tried to talk me through it. They asked if I felt comfortable sharing the information and they would fill it in for me. Already being Irritated AF, I blurted my SSN out. They quickly thanked me and said I would be receiving another email so be on the look out.l next got a call from a new person who had an American accent unlike the first individual who seemed to have an indian accent. She seemed friendly and stated she was my new POC and that she would be sending me an email with the rest of my onboarding paperwork that needs to be completed as soon as possible within 24hr. I am frustrated because something just did not seem right. I wondered why they are rushing this process like this. So I received the email that has specific instructions like (see below) as I proceeded to read the email, something said go to search but this time add scammer behind their name and lookie here. I am not the only one except I feel like they got me because I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and I gave them people my Government! Question is: What do I do Now..asking because I could use it right now!

Actual last email sent to me below:

I got a linked-in message by a recruiter, Matt Butler from PRI Technology, saying my profile and experience was amazing and he wanted to see if I was interested in a job position. The job sounded too easy and very well paid but as a contractor it did make sense. Plus, the Company was a legit local Company. I messaged him back over linkedIn asking for a full job description, and LinkedIn asked me if I wanted to share my information with him. I said yes, since my job email and phone is something that it is in my resume and I thought he already had it. Well, after 5 min I got a call from an unknown number so I let it went to voicemail. I got a translated message from another recruiter, named Saumitra Shukla from Iconma saying he sent me an email with the full job description and to contact him back to [email protected]. As a first, I thought it was something else, since I have been actively looking but the name of the Company didn't ring a bell. Went I heard the voicemail, it was completely different than the message, in fact sounded like the scammer didn't notice he was still on the line and I can hear him talking to another person on the phone, and he was typing, I heard" yes, ma'am, Marketing Manager, digital, recruiter" It was hard to understand, I could quickly noticed he was Indian by his accent and he was going from English to Hindi. Also, the background noise sounded like a call center. So I quickly realized it was a scam and the translated message was an auto message, they may sent when they can't reach out to you. When I read his email the job description was very like the LinkedIn message but now the Company was different and payment as well. My disconcert still is the LinkedIn account that belong to a different person to looks to be American, also a recruiter from the states, which looks very legit. When I read Matt profile, the recruiter who approached me as a first, I noticed his account is verified, he has tons of followers and he even have recommendations from people who look legit. I also googled him and his information is all over the internet, so he looks like someone that you could easily impersonate. He might be a real person, and somehow this Indian scammers spoofed his account. Or the same scammers added this info online. Who knows but most people won't be that cautious or spend much time trying to figure if this is legit before responding. I asked Matt, or whoever that person was, to stop contacting me and I also reported the LinkedIn account. I was amazed that this happened over LinkedIn. Later ,I got a notification on LinkedIn about a new job position and guess what, was another recruiter from PRI Technology, Bill Stevens, with the same job description. There's really not safe platforms anymore.

They contacted me out of the blue via email. Out of curiosity, I responded. The thickly Indian accent was hard to understand. After talking to them on the phone and checking out their website, I had a lot of doubts.
1. They wanted me to give my social security number over the phone. When I said No, he said he would send me an "encrypted" form via email, to which I also said No.
2. Their website lists their founder as "Claudine George" and shows an Indian male in a set up photo. (lol)
3. The job they were trying to recruit me for didn't exist on their "client" website.
4. They pay they were offering was unrealistic for the job type.
5. They wanted me to send my resume (which they said they already found).
6. They have a "candidate" portal and instead of asking for the candidate to sign up on it, they instruct you to send things by email and/or talk on phone.

9. Report to Michigan BBB if you have been targeted.

I got scammed by a company December 2021 from another company similar to Iconma. It was a scam. It was called Zodiac Ship US in which they got my SSN. So they probably sold my info to ICONMA. I'm so sick of these scammers.

I was contacted by this company for a temp position and they asked for my SS# over the phone. I said no, to email me the details. After reviewing I gave them my SS# to apply for the position as a part of an application with TD Bank. Then things struck me as funny. I told the representative Ayush Gupta that I thought he was a scam and no response. I Left messages about my concerns about being a scam and no response. I contact TD Bank and they advised me that "iconma" was not an approved vendor with them. I emailed this info to Aush Gupta who never responded. I need confirmation that this company is legit or a scam. I should not have given them my SS# and they should have never asked.
