Type of a scam Home Improvement
A TruGreen worker arrived at my home and knocked on the door. Since no one answered, he proceeded to enter my backyard without any permission or prior authorization. He brought a gardening trolley and began walking around, pretending to do yard work. We have never had any agreement or contract with TruGreen, nor did we request any services from TruGreen or any other lawn care services. My father noticed this activity through out security camera while he was out and immediately returned home. Within about 10 minutes, he arrived and caught the worker exiting our backyard. When confronted, the employee quickly apologized but offered no explanation for his actions and appeared to be in a hurry to leave.
The incident is especially concerning because online research shows this is not an isolated case, other homeowners have reported similar experiences involving unsolicited yard work followed by unexpected billing. We have security footage of the incident, and we have documented everything, including the time, date, and description of the employee. I am very concerned about this behaviour, as this was clearly unauthorized entry onto private property, and we are worried we may receive a fraudulent bill. We also find this behaviour deeply unethical. I hope others can also be aware of this company and their fraudulent attempts.
