Type of a scam Online Purchase

I am a cigar enthusiast and made a purchase from what appears to be a legitimate cigar website, HabCigars.com. The website set up an account as expected, typical correspondence. Paid via paypal. I was told the package would be sent to their logistics carrier. Nearly immediately received an email with tracking number to the logistics company. Then a text was received explaining their policy requiring a $300 fee for "insurance." The fee was good for six shipments which they had a good reason stating the average cigar person buys six boxed a year and this covered that and the shipping, remaining funds are refunded yearly. That is fairly accurate as they have some hard to find cigars which should have been my first red flag. I paid the $300, got a reply the package was being shipped and I would be getting a voucher for a couple free shipments due to the delay. Radio silence for a week, I sent multiple emails to Hab and Hilton Express Logistics. Then I start receiving texts requesting another $150 fee. I said no, they keep contacting me requesting the $150 threatening to return the package to the shipper or destroy it. This is a 6x8 inch package via domestic shipping. Now when looking closely at the websites they are quite similar and most likely the same entity, lacking social media and reviews. I have found one other instance of this entity reported as a scam on the WWW, however, it was difficult to find. I suspect they are the same entity and this is a complete scam. I will make a similar report on HabCigars.com
