I saw a post on Facebook advertising a skid steer for sale. The seller required full payment upfront, claiming the funds would be held until I received the equipment, at which point they would "complete" the transaction. They refused to allow anyone to view the equipment before purchase. The person I spoke with had a foreign accent, and the price for the skid steer seemed too good to be true—that should have been my first red flag.
