Gift basket not delivered and horrible customer service

I have ordered a gift basket for Christmas. Hazelton's delivered only half the basket, weeks later when the customer service representative finally got back to me, they found out that the second half was damaged during transit. They offered me new delivery or refund. I decided for new delivery. Unfortunately again 2 weeks later, nothing was delivered. They didn't bother to contact me with any explanation. I have requested refund, which took more than a week to receive confirmation. They still charged me full service and delivery fee even though they delivered only half the gift basket. All up it took almost 2 months. It is so sad there are still companies with such a poor customer service that won't acknowledge their mistake and instead fighting for service/delivery fee for undelivered goods. It's not only about the refund, but also about the disappointment when you are trying to surprise someone with a gift and they ruin it all. Please look for a different provider!

SCAM ALERT! This is not a legit business. There are no gift baskets and the products come from the local grocery chain. This mess of brownies was supposed to be Nanaimo bars. Suspect they are Little Debbie brownies. Asked for a refund and was told that somewhere hidden on their site is a clause that states they can substitute any product. I never received a SINGLE EMAIL from the moment I ordered nor through their little switcheroo to delivery. 100% scam. Even their pictures are fake.

I paid roughly $250 for a gift basket, and purchased a number of upgrades, including wine and cheeses. They promised 2 bottles of upgraded wine for my selections. They delivered 1 bottle of cheap wine. They did not deliver on any of the artisan cheeses that I upgraded to either. After 3 voicemails and 104 emails, they do not respond. This company is completely garbage. Hazeltons (aka The Gift Group) is a complete scam with deceptive practices. Please do not buy from them.

What this company posts for sale on their website is nothing like the products they actually deliver. They charge extra for express shipping fees and do not meet these shipping guarantees. I ordered a customized vanilla birthday cake. What was delivered was a giant melted chocolate blob that was not safe to eat. To top it off, it arrived 4 days late. I have sent emails, made calls, left voicemail, taken to twitter and their has been no response from Customer Service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!
